Goalkeeper in soccer is the easiest position to play in any of the big sports. If you started an academy of kids who were decent at bball but not good enough for D1 you’d have multiple professional keepers after a couple of years.

I’m not going that hot but I believe Chris Paul is the 2nd best PG of all time at this moment.

A perfect combination of great and awful players with absolutely no middle ground, still can’t believe that team (and years of similar teams) got Champions League football year after year.

Shocking that a back line featuring old ass Silvestre and no confidence Fabianski couldn’t slow down Torres in his prime

Scored all 4 goals in a classic Arsenal 4-4 draw I think is what you meant to say...

Boogie obviously doesn’t understand how necessary height, length and rebounding is in Vivek’s vaunted 4 on 5 defence. Don’t worry Vivek, you’ll show them.

Also 89 - only stuff about the OJ chase I remember was Norm Macdonald’s OJ jokes on SNL, but apparently I watched the chase on a TV at the mall with my dad. Princess Diana I remember hearing she died but not really understanding it, same with Clinton.

As a basketball fan I’m kinda sad because we could’ve had years of Warriors-Thunder battles, as a fan of karma the chain reaction of this and Russ (hopefully) leaving next summer will leave Clay Bennett sad and to that I say GREAT JOB KEVIN!

The Chiarelli and Benning combo out West has to be great for Flames fans... and we haven’t even gotten to the inevitable bidding war for Lucic between Edmonton and Vancouver.

Sacramento killed Stauskas career before he even got started. No one can come back from this.

Those are the top 8 guys in the mock drafts of: SBNation, DraftExpress (& Yahoo/Vertical), NBADraft.net, The Ringer, Sports Illustrated, Chad Ford (ESPN) & NBA.com. While it may not pan out that way, I’m not willing to look at anymore mock drafts to find someone who doesn’t have those 8 in some order. We’ll see in a

Their greatest innovation was giving Steph Curry serious ankle problems his first few years in the league, leading to him signing what is easily the best contract (from an organizational standpoint) in the NBA.

I’d be super happy if Bender dropped to them @8, but Sabonis would be a nice 4/5 who could play from day 1... The Lithuanian twin towers.

Most of the stuff I’ve read has Sabonis the odd one out. Simmons, Ingram, Murray, Chriss, Hield, Dunn, Bender, Brown.

There’s a consensus top 8 players, and it’s a crap shoot from there. Raptors have the #9 pick from the Knicks from the Bargnani trade. If your team is involved with Andrea Bargnani in any way, you will be let down....

‘Obviously goes to show you that Hayden wasn’t being paid a living wage as Athletic Director, forcing him to accept additional income from a scholarship fund. So how could we ever afford to pay players?’ - NCAA’s response in a few hours/days

Has to be said that while Steph was shooting the ball well last night and keeping G State in game, he made a few awful turnovers. Careless passes right at half court that led to Cavs fast breaks. It’s something you expect in a 3rd game in 4 nights regular season game (reminded me of their game @ Portland right after

Barnes knows that Phil Jackson probably hasn’t watched any playoff games this year, and even if he has he’s been so high that he can’t remember any of his missed shots. Come July 1 Harrison mentions to Dolan that he enjoys playing the saxophone and boom, $25 mil/year for 5 years.

I have a signed Bryant Reeves playing card that a family friend gave me for looking after their dog for a weekend or something (I was like 8). They were good friends with the Reeves family and had him sign it for me. My brother sharpie’d a text bubble of him saying “I suck ass” on it and I was laughing too hard to
