I’d agree with that. There’s such a huge difference in the speed of the game from college to NBA, even if it’s not clear when you watch it on TV. These guys have to make reads and reactions milliseconds earlier so that someone isn’t given a large enough window to score. Most people on that court can play at that speed…

Totally. KD can thrive in either situation but a rock fight lets Russ run around and cause havoc, get cheap steals, offensive rebounds, just use his athleticism better than the pick & roll game does.
