What do you think explains the difference between the blue arc and the red hot efficiency right around the basket? I was thinking maybe it's mostly transition buckets and the blue arc (along with the smaller sample tight to the hoop) is just the Dwight/Asik effect in regular half-court possessions?
I don't understand why we need refs trotting over to the video hood and then walking back. If we want to speed it up why don't they do it the NHL way where the ref is given a headset and some guy back in New York can say "it's a touchdown"
I fully support the Bucks playing MCW - Middleton - Greek Freak - Jabari - Henson in the future also known as the all-limb-lineup.
Another thing to keep in mind: don't talk about your own shots/mistakes/unlucky breaks. There's nothing I hate more than going to the next tee and having some idiot talk about how great or awful his approach shot was last hole.
Jacque was undoubtedly one of the shittiest coaches in the league this year. His offense down the stretch in close games was basically Scotty Brooks without having Durant or Westbrook to bail him out.
Think right now it's probably 1) Curry 2/3) Harden/Davis in some order and 4) Lebron... All 4 of them could win it depending on how their second half of the season shapes up.
"Me and you, Letroy, we're not so different" - Jimmy Irsay trying to sign Guion
If I'm not mistaken the Nuggets get the option to swap 1st round picks with the Knicks in 2016 and the Raptors get whichever pick the Knicks end up with (via Bargnani trade). Both picks have serious Top 10 potential.
Someone on the ESPN comments section (I hate myself for looking at it) said Cody was high and tried to feed the dog to the gator...
Read from someone on twitter that the City fans were singing "you're just a shit David Silva" at Santi during the game but they didn't stick around to the end of game to get it given back to them by the traveling fans.
Hair and mustache style aside, how good has Griezmann been in his first year for Atleti?
Steph Curry, AD and..... Kawhi Leonard for me. Think you need shooters and versatile defenders and he can be both while not needing to be a star.
Oh man Minnesota won that trade pretty clearly. They got Wiggins + Bennett on cheap contracts for the next 3 years, plus Miami's first rounder from Cleveland (which they promptly traded to 76ers for 1 year of Thad Young, and could end up a lottery pick).
I know it's only the Copa del ray but holy shit there's a lot of empty seats... 3 of the best forwards in the world and it's still that empty?
Love how he doesn't bring the ball down with his catch to shoot motion, it's really fluid and buys him extra time on the spot up. Should also be noted he's been playing well with Zach Lavine and Mo Williams as his point guards. When Rubio is back he should get a couple more easy baskets each game.
Bennett actually had a double double in this game!... He never should've been taken #1 (it was an awful draft and people were projecting him at #5-7 range), but if he could get any grasp on how to play defence then he could be a solid player in the future... Big if
Oilers fans must be really choked seeing their top line out there in PK Subban jerseys.
Monty Williams might be worse for the team than Austin Rivers.
He's not an Assistant Coach, he's a Team Assistant, probably one of those guys who works out with players, rebounds for them in warm-up, etc. Not exactly a high paying job.
