Having us actually control all the units in real time probably wouldn't have worked out, but I did want to be able to have some degree of influence and control over the final battle, in the air and on the ground, that would have been akin to the meaningful Suicide Mission mechanic in ME2.

I agree that Origins had the best storytelling because it was a lot more focused. All the missions and side quests forwarded or supplemented the central storyarc which was about Batman's transformation from vigilante to actual superhero.

Christopher Drake needs more appreciation for consistently memorable superhero scores for most of the DC Animated projects.
