I have no idea what a WoW would be like since I never got into the game, but that is a surprisingly solid cast.

Following the example set by Man-of-Bats from Grant Morrison's Batman Inc., "Batman on a budget" could work. It won't be as 'sexy or easy' as the classic way of doing things, but a lot of good could still be done as long as he focused on the 'help people' part of superheroing.

I really liked Manitou Raven and Manitou Dawn from Joe Kelly's JLA and Justice Leage Elite series, but always wondered what Apache readers or commentators made of them.

They could also meld it with the 'dossiers' you unlock throughout the game. Like reward you for studying your enemies and knowing their personalities and weakness by letting you take advantage of their inherent weaknesses during boss fights instead of just telling you what you need to do.

Now playing

I liked the 'take pictures of Batman landmarks' since they felt like trivia questions as much as easter egg hunts. But I wouldn't mind if they reduced the number of generic 'find the green ?' under the bridge/car/roof tasks in exchange for more of the elaborate puzzle rooms.

Batman was actually referred to as a "Black Knight" in one or two of his very early comic adventures (I think one instance came after "Dark Knight" was first used).

At the end of his stint on Plastic Man, Baker used the title to publish a hilarious and barely veiled parody of Identity Crisis and what he thought of DC's general creative direction.

So of course DC totally ruined her and banished her from relevance.

A Batman with 10 dead parents is 5 times as dangerous.

Yessssss!

And thanks to the oven mitt gloves, he won't have to worry about scalding his hands on his cocoa.

I think it makes sense since his was probably the loosest and most comfortable cowl to wear.

Now just dye the hair black and we're good.

I really loved "Ex Machina" for all the similar historical trivia BKV jampacked into the series.

Theology in superhero universes is a mess... usually best not to think it over lest you wind up with a headache.

White Power?

I was going back and fourth on Ra's, Hugo Strange, and Chill for King, but thought that Chill would make a better parallel piece against either Gordon or Alfred.
