Yup my dad got scammed similarly one time. The guy said he was a priest and his car broke down and he wanted to repay him the $20 for a bus ticket and to get home he was so desperate etc etc etc. My dad even gave the guy his address so he could mail him a check once he got home. He never got a check if you’ll believe…
I have a surgery coming up in a couple of weeks and will be on my butt for 2 weeks or so. I bought Owlboy since it looks to be right up my alley. I might start it this weekend though, who knows. You know my wife and I visited in the summer of 2016. 5 days. Not a drop of rain. We were told many times by many different people that it was not normal. Anyway, great city especially if you catch it during 5 days of sun.
My wife and I decided kids aren’t for us, so if someone prods too much I’ll just say that I’m fixed (true - had a vasectomy). That usually shuts them up.
Ill just say I've broken bones, had surgeries, probably have had undiagnosed concussions... The gout flare ups have been far and away the worst pain I've experienced in my life and it's not even remotely close.
Doctor told me it’s for chronic sufferers only as it can mess with your kidney (liver maybe?)
I’m 34 years old and have had 3 gout attacks in the last 14 months. Never happened to me before. I can pretty much no longer eat red meat or drink beer.

My paycheck went up about $20/check. I went from about a $3500 refund to owing $1400 at the end of the year. Those numbers don’t add up for me.
