I worked at Bed Bath and Beyond in college for a couple of years. One of the endcaps had some CD display thing with various samples of songs on it.

I got completely impossibly stuck on Martyr Logarius and wasn’t able to recover. I’ve been stuck for about a year and a half. I go back in and play every once in a while, but haven’t been able to move on. I think he’s optional, but still. 

I mean, that’s fine. I just know we’d rather pay in a little more throughout the year to not get hit with a tax bill during tax season. It was just such a large swing. That’s pretty much a net loss of $5,000 to us this year than we’re historically used to, to make sure billionaires can keep theirs. Lesson learned,…

I get it’s ‘our fault’ but my wife and I went from a consistent $3000-4000 refund per year to a $1400 bill due to the government. Luckily we can afford it for the most part, but it beyond obnoxious. Nothing changed on our end either, other than I guess that tax law we needed to pay more attention to.

My wife has had a $25 Hard Rock Cafe gift card in her wallet for, I dunno, 5 years now? Who the fuck goes to Hard Rock Cafe? And not even enough money to pay for two people to eat! Absurd.

I mean I agree with everything you’re saying. I’ve watched all these absolute chokejobs too. I live and breathe the Nets, unfortunately. They DO have some talent, they just still (still) have nothing resembling a closer. Russell is talented, but he absolutely cannot handle the pressure in the 4th quarter. Dinwiddie…

They also just suck and have very few good players. They should be playing Kurucs and Musa a lot more though. Once that happens, the tank is really on.

Yeah I have that turned on, but I work from home, so I don’t get much at all during the day. I will be commuting again soon though - so I assume moving around in an office all day will help with that.

hah - I took a solid year+ off from this game - just lost interest and my wife really wanted to get back involved, so we’re playing again.

The Kings don’t even have their first rounder next summer! There’s zero incentive to tank!
