Jamil would be a great host for more trivia-based panel shows like QI or 8 out of 10 Cats. Heck, if she and Jimmy Carr were to switch places, it would be more on-brand for both of them.

Just finished story mode in Super Mario Maker 2. It wasn’t great, and I don’t know that it gave me much inspiration for course building. When I finally have enough free time for a good play sesh, I’ll try my hand at designing a few levels. I have some decent ideas for puzzle levels.

And on top of that, Necrobarista, Control, and Astral Chain are all arriving in the next month!

This is absolutely devastating. The sheer loss of talent is unimaginable.

If you’d told me five years ago that Bennet would not just grow into her role, but end up playing one of the most entertaining action heroes on television, I would have laughed in your face.

Has there been a TV writer who has failed upward as consistently as Scott Buck?

Maynard James Keenan is a rapist, so who gives a shit what he thinks?

Finished Chapter 5 in Judgment. I have a weird relationship with this game. It has a much deeper, more engrossing story than most of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s games. But the actual mechanics of moving through that story leave a lot to be desired. Specifically, a lot of the investigative elements feel like mindless

So what do y’all think is going on with Luisa?

Fair enough, but it’s not how De Caestecker used to play the character.

It’s honestly starting to feel like Fitz and Simmons don’t enjoy each other’s presence anymore. De Caestecker is doing a weird thing with his performance where it seems like he’s vaguely annoyed by everything. It’s not working.

Funnily enough, I watched this movie for the first time about a month ago on a plane ride, and it was still in the film. I guess that was one of the last opportunities to see the uncut version. (For the record, I thought it was gross and unfunny, but now I feel strangely satisified to have gotten to see something that

I think that’s what the heart stuff might be foreshadowing. :(

My theory is that Luisa will end up sacrificing herself to save Jane, Raf, and/or Mateo from Rose.

Two video games for me this weekend: Judgment and Super Mario Maker 2. Well, also Bayonetta, since I’m in the middle of a level right now and should hit a checkpoint before loading up Super Mario Maker 2 so as not to lose progress.

I’m only 4 hours into Judgment, so maybe it’s too early to judge (pun not intended), but so far my experience echoes yours in that the game just feels like an awkward, restricted, and more gamified Yakuza game. When it comes to solving cases, the game holds the player’s hand a lot instead of letting them reason things

I’ve only finished four new games so far this year: Baba Is You; Kids; Pikuniku; and Sekiro. Baba Is You is one of the most brilliant puzzle games I’ve played in years, and though some of the later puzzles tend towards the frustrating, the fact that new mechanics keep getting added late in the game keep the whole

Only if you pre-ordered it digitally, I believe.

Top 10 so far:

The new SSPU isn’t bad, but it sounds like the band is just going through the motions. It doesn’t have the harder edge of their first two albums, nor does it have the ethereal dreamscapes of their third and fourth albums. It’s just kinda there.
