Yeah, there’s definitely been a lack of kid stuff with a dark tone. (that’s not to say that there hasn’t been any dark content, but like you said, something that’s overall dark and scary and fantastic)

That’s pretty cool. My middle school offered a home ec class. Problem was, EVERYONE wanted to take the class and space was limited. (why the school didn’t create more home ec class periods, I’ll never know) I wanted to take it in 8th grade (7th graders were technically allowed to take it but I don’t think any 7th

The rats are imported.

In college, my dad was buying my groceries and he got me this big bag of rice that came in a burlap bag. I thought the bag looked cool so I kept it to use as a handbag. Sometimes people ask me where I got it. I like to tell them I paid $50 for it at Urban Outfitter or Anthropologie, before telling them it’s literally

I know you can buy flasks that look like tampons. Sneak them into places and stuff.

I just graduated with my bachelor’s in anthropology. This is the kind of stuff I really want to do.

I’m kind of surprised that the success of Lord of the Rings never caused studios to try and make another big fantasy epic journey film series. I guess Chronicles of Narnia was the closest attempt.

Wish we had another big teen fantasy/sci-fi series on TV right now. Perhaps Netflix can step up?

Yeah, the constantly changing cast was a big flaw of the show for me.

Yeah, I really wish more teen shows had a bit more fun in them. I always had a hard time getting into teen shows because they were usually just terribly boring and the drama often felt petty. They were supposed to be “relateable”, maybe they were for some people, but never for me. Daria was really the only realistic

The majority of people who get attacked by big, exotic pets like these are the owners. Bet they thought they had a special bond too. It’s some kind of wish-fulfillment thinking, I guess.

Agreed on all points. I wish more people were educated on how to spot a legitimate rescue/sanctuary, because a lot of shady places call themselves sanctuaries to trick people into thinking that it’s a good place. Some tips:

Agreed. When it comes to big cats, it’s usually the adult ones that people look to find homes. Why would people abandon cubs? They’re not too difficult to manage and they’re easier to profit from. (charging people to pet and hold them and such) Once in a while a cub needs rescuing, but that’s pretty rare. I see a lot

So many sanctuary and zoo workers seem to have such stories. People be crazy

He definitely played a part in my sexual awakening, that’s for sure.

Yeah, I loved that joke!

Peridot mentioned three. On ancient Gem structures like the ones on Earth and the moon, we see four Diamond symbols: white, yellow, blue, and pink. The moon base also shows four Diamond murals in those colors. (though we only see the legs of Pink) But on Peridot’s spaceship, there are only white, yellow, and blue

Homeworld is a pretty totalitarian society with a strict caste system. A successful rebellion, like the one that happened on Earth, would show that Homeworld isn’t perfect and they can be beaten. Destroying Earth destroys the symbol of rebellion, and it proves that they can’t win in the end.

Eh, she wanted to bring Rose to Homeworld to show Yellow Diamond, though.

So, those Egg Council creeps got to you, huh?!
