It’s not abuse, but being overly strict with food can cause them to have an unhealthy relationship with food. I knew some kids who weren’t allowed to have junk food, so any opportunity they had to eat it they went really overboard.

Maybe that’s what they’re advertising here.

Yeah, that was bugging me. Guess he’s that much of a loser.

If they just used “tribal” they probably could’ve avoided all of this. It’s generic enough that no one can sue, at least for the name. (if the design is stolen that’s another matter)

One time my dad bought me a huge bag of rice from an Indian food store. The rice came in a burlap bag which I now use to carry things. Sometimes people ask me where I got it. I always thought it would be funny to lie and say I got it at Urban Outfitters for $50.

Yeah, I was gonna say, I’ve never heard “Navajo” used as a generic word to describe designs/styles. I’ve heard “tribal” and rarely “Indian” or “Native American”, but never “Navajo”.

This is what I was wondering. Especially considering that those items could be advertised as authentic, and the company gets good PR points.

Contrary to popular belief, there’s not actually a huge shortage of STEM graduates. A STEM degree doesn’t guarantee a job like people think.

They want these girls and women to give their kids for adoption to “nice” Christian couples. That’s why they only suggest adoption as the alternative.

They’re in the business of making money. They don’t accept applicants with certain genetic conditions because women wouldn’t want the sperm. I mean, isn’t the whole point of going to a sperm bank to get some genetically healthy jizz? If not, you could save money by fucking random guys. Sperm banks have limited space

A show about a guy like this going to prison would be a great fish-out-of-water sitcom.

Jurassic World was a real mixed bag, but man, that final scene was fantastic!

Hey, now, no need to call dibs! We’re adults, we can share.

Yeah, seeing other stuff take over is annoying. And it’s all so overpriced too, not to mention that there are other chain stores (such as Hot Topic) that have better selections of the same stuff.

This is what I was thinking. I don’t criticize how people spend their money so long as it isn’t hurting anyone (sure, that money could’ve saved a lot of shelter dogs, but if they spent the money on a fancy vacation home I doubt anyone would complain) but I do question whether it’s a wise decision. I get missing your

I’m not against cloning dead pets, but I do question why someone would want to do it for a dog that died of such health problems at 8 years old.

People planting fake artifacts at archaeological sites isn’t terribly uncommon, and people have different motivations. Some people plant artifacts to get famous when they dig them up, or to bring attention to the site for whatever reason, or to make the country look cool, or whatever.

I dunno if the archaeologists on site thought it was a real artifact, don’t see why anyone would.

Seems to me that a lot of Americans treat eating out as a recreational activity. I do it, my friends do it, my mom does it. You go to a restaurant, hang out, whatever.
