Agreed. These days, there aren’t a whole lot of good shows that market to families. Most shows are either explicitly for adults or for children, you know, more focus on demographics these days. Plus, it takes some real skill to write a decent show that can handle adult topics in a family-friendly manner.

Well, that’s the cool factor for a lot of people. Of course, they don’t actually want to deal with the possibility of an animal that’s REALLY dangerous to them, so they let it go when it gets too big.

Heh heh, I know. It’s just that before I got around to watching TOS, I was used to seeing William Shatner as this fat old dude who does TV commercials, so it was a bit jarring to hear his voice come out of this hot guy.

And something I want to throw in... Even if a place is a family restaurant, there is still some etiquette to follow. Unless there’s a playplace, kids should still use inside voices and stay seated at the table. (running around is a safety hazard, and screaming is just rude)
