Watched this afternoon on the DVR with junior-falcons. If I don't start getting some characters to care about all the conspiracies in this world (and the mirror world the almost humans come from) I'm not likely to watch much longer. Two more weeks, I'm thinking.

I've not read any of the Culture novels but have heard such good things about them. Any suggestions on where to start?

I'm always willing to recognize artistic talent, especially since I have none, but why does # 3 need treads on its feet if it has articulated legs for walking? Also what is # 1 eating? Poop sushi?
