The Miata I think falls into that sweet spot where it has “enough” power to not feel “slow” but the real magic is how it makes you feel when you hold that speed through corners. Driving a light, low power, car with good handling quickly through corners makes you feel magical, like a pro.

CAN is the local area network in the car, the hack work by exploiting a voulnerability in the head unit to gain access to the CAN and send false or malicious commands to the BCM, ECM, TCM, ect...

Either plate transfer or in some states a dealer can be a mini-DMV, or as my old shop had done before for repeat customers we’d go to DMV for them to get plates for the car and roll it into the bill for the car (or Comp it if they were GOOD customers.)
