Book Rate in my opinion is a huge damned scam, and second why SHOULDN’T being a Mechanic be a salaried position?

Again, speaking as Mechanic if we used a customer’s car that needed driving to run an errand for the shop (of which picking up lunch would be) and anything was spilled/made dirty depending in the severity either the Tech would have to clean it on his own time, or if it was bad enough we’d call the Detailer in.
Oil change, no.
I wouldn’t go on the highway with one of these for more than a mile or two. At 150CC it would struggle to get my little ass up to and ride at 60ish.
A quick tip, check your angles.
That seems to run counter to what I’ve physically seen cutting brake rotors on a lathe. On rotors that have a pronounced warpage felt through the pedal, when chucked up in the lathe and faced off you will clearly see a pattern emerge as the higher spots are cut down first and the lower spots are untouched.
Seconded, but I will say this from doing literally hundreds of brake jobs while I was Mechanic.
It’s likely on a VPN, and of assume HBO has multiple editing houses, internal reviewers, producers, executives and PR people. All of whole need access and are likely in many disparate offices across the world.
Its not that bad, when I was mechanic we had a customer that went 35k miles on a Murano without ever changing the oil, she just added more when the light came on.
I don’t get the whole, you did something minorly inconvenient and lightly illegal so I’ll commit a Felony to teach you a lesson, attitude.
I take it you haven’t seen Rush, I’m a huge F1 fan and loved it. Everyone who I know has seen it (even ones that aren’t F1 fans) and loved it.
The Del Sol is lighter than a Civic Hatch of the same year, it is how ever heavier than the CR-X. (2,295 for a 93 Si Del Sol vs 2,326 for a 93 Si Hatch).
I loved the seats in my Del Sol, but once I started doing work to it and put in Delrin motor mounts god did it become a pain in the ass to live with. Girlfriend at the time liked it though.....
I was a tech for about 8 years, so this is my take on it.
For something like a Ball Joint, it is the difference between a cheap joint with sea sludge for grease on the used condoms/trashbags bearing material vs a MOOG part with sintered bronze bearings and grease that doesn’t come pre-broken down.
I love my old FZR600 but a fully faired bike that is already light, with a light rider on it just gets rekt by crosswinds.
I stopped wrenching on my cars when I sold off the Baja Bug and the Jeep. Then immediately started again when I bought a bike older than me and a bike just younger than I am.
Mate, as much as I love old bikes they are pure headaches to own.
Vettel has ALWAYS been a really good train conductor.
KMag, well I like the kid so I’ll make excuses for everything but his initial impact, if you saw the amount of CF his and Ericson’ car’s shed in that smackup you’d actually think they might be DSQ’d for being underweight if they had finished the race.
