The problem being that with how the cars are designed now, if the front wing breaks the debris will nacker the rest of the Aero bits.

F1 Pitcrews are staffed from within the team, those guys are also mechanics, electricians, accountants, ect... pulling Pit Crew duty. IIRC Redbull has open recruitment inside of the team’s staff for it’s pit crew.

I think it is a MASSIVE ruddy cooler, at the top the air is much thinner so less drag but also less cooling. I think the drag penalty is out weighed by actually lasting long enough to cross the finish line and get put on life support.

I had plenty of Customers with E250 and E350 vans tow large work trailers just fine. The only customers I had that really ONLY bought pick-ups were landscapers.
