I knew there were stipulations, the shop/used car place I worked at never did it, be IIRC we helped one of our customer who ran into something of sort once. I’ll ask my old Boss about it next time I drop down for a coffee and a chat.

I’ve done trig in the mud on the side of a guy’s truck at a car show to explain why he felt like he nearly died on the way out there.

I was just about to ask the same, but technically a dealer can still sell a car as-is, IIRC there is a hell of a lot more paperwork that spooks most buyers away.

How is the KBB that high? Supply and Demand. Yes the TJ is very clean for it’s age I have the least rusty ‘98 TJ that has lived it’s life on this miserable spit of land.

Wranglers can get it from two causes,

A little of Column A a little of Column B.

Thats a damned good price for a CJ-5, but they just aren’t as desirable as the CJ-7 or CJ-8 Scramblers.

An AR15 can only be on Safe if the hammer is cocked. If it was fully cleared (ie hammer down on empty chamber) the selector would have to be in Semi/Fire.

Two years ago when I bought my TJ I was looking at a 2006 LJ.

Depends on the area but around here:

A good car sales man is worth his weight in gold.

I wonder why they went a with a High Steer Conversion, I mean it is a way to correct the Drag Link/Track Bar angle, but most kits instead come with an adjustable or longer Track Bar with higher degree of mobility ends.

Stock JK Unlimited Springs area great source of lift kit for TJs.

Easier, until it upshifts while you try get a little wheelspin to rubber-up a rock for more traction.

I've wheeled my stick jeep, generally if I'm maneuvering over an obstacle I go down in 4lo and eye-ball the ideal gear for it then usually walk over applying throttle if need be. In 4lo and 1st or 2nd I can STAND on the brakes and the truck will painfully inch along with the torque multiplication over coming the

JKs get DW for a separate issue. JK D30s have the same thickness and diameter tubes as the TJ D30 but are inches longer and a MUCH heavier truck. JK D30 tubes have a huge amount of deflection for a solid axle truck, it is one of the reasons that if you are gonna wheel on the stock from axle a Truss is must.

XJs can get Death Wobble also.

Still looks like a better safer bridge than the Goethals or Outer-Bride Crossing.

Maybe a shitty-scummy-ass shop, a good shop that cares about a working relationship with it's customers, in our case the owner was calling the claim in while the service writer was have a smoke before calling the customer and the mechanic that did it was packing up his tools (It was his fifth serious f-up in as many

The Shop's insurance would cover that, at least it did when a co-worker did the same years ago and caved a door in with the post of the lift.
