There is such a difference between a survey approval rating and actually pulling the lever on a voting machine, as Bernie found out in the primaries, in which he was handily beaten by Hillary.

There’s a reason that most of the corporate world has mandatory retirement ages for executives.

Exactly. I like Bernie, but he’s got some serious baggage after 2016,and that’s not going to go away. Plus some typical “old white man” views that I think we’re all sick of.

Like you, I voted for Bernie and then enthusiastically voted for Hillary because she was running against the literal worst person in the country. But we all need to be honest about Bernie. He articulates visions that many of us on the left would like to see come to fruition, but he has not the political force to bring

People seem to forget that the GOP didn’t bother doing any negative campaigning against Bernie.

I cannot believe what I’m reading here. And YES to all of it. The best thing Bernie can do is cultivate support and donations for another progressive.

A VP shouldn’t be an insurance policy when you run. Just let Bernie step aside and be a mentor.

That’ll just make it easy for the GOP to win. You’d be running effectively as two different ‘presidential’ candidates on the same ticket from right out the gate. So you then gain the ability for the GOP to slap around conspiracy theories and skeletons-in-the-closet on double the fronts. Sorta like what the DNC did to

We need a mandatory retirement age from politics. Seriously.

Opening the windows to let in fresh air then burning incense sounds like the perfect morning routine for someone whose idea of overachieving is ticking off as many lifestyle memes as possible. Maybe just pick one or the other? A lot of these lives seem more like performance art than real substance. And probably have

It’s like, have fun being “in complete control” of your big, fat dental bills down the line!

I believe it. After a move where we ended up without a bathroom sink, I put my ex husband’s toothbrush and paste on the kitchen counter, because it was the location of our only functional sink. I assumed he was using it because he was a full grown man.

I used to date a guy that never got an eye exam because ‘they’re doctors, they should be preventing this, not making you wear glasses to correct it.’  I tried explaining that’s not how it works, but he didn’t listen.

I’m a straight lady and I sure as hell am not nagging a grown man about brushing his teeth. That’s goddamn ridiculous. If we’re dating and your breath frequently smells/tastes bad then we will no longer dating pretty quickly.

LOL, I said the same!

Why are straight men devolving into such toddlers!?!?

I used to work with a photographer who refused to brush his teeth, as he was certain that all you needed to do was rinse your mouth, and that anything else was a consumer conspiracy put together by Big Toothpaste.

If only women would be more accepting of my rotting, corpse teeth /s

dear god I hope you’re joking

Yes it’s the fault of feminists that so many young men can’t get laid today. That’s my takeaway from the story.
