D: I hope your scalp is better!

“Oh we can’t? Because of the Constitution?” DYING.

Fwiw I’ve heard that the vinegar and baking soda thing isn’t that great for your hair in the long term, bc it fucks with the pH and breaks down the bonds that give hair it’s shape.

Can we talk about how great Kenan Thompson was in that sketch? I feel like he gets pigeonholed a lot (like even if he’s playing different characters he always uses the same ‘comedy voice’), but his R&B performance just blew it out of the water.

I like to consider myself low maintenance because I’m way too lazy to do makeup very often, but the truth is that when the it does go on, there’s a lot of stuff.

I honestly feel that hiring Jason Momoa was partly an attempt to channel BATB Aquaman, and it was a Good Decision.

Apparently the Christmas Creep is worse over there, because they don’t have Thanksgiving as a buffer holiday.

My brother taught me to stick a hair over the fireplace door on Christmas Eve to tell whether anyone opened it or not overnight. It was really quite devious.

My brother made a Jewish kindergarten classmate cry by telling him Santa wasn’t real (he just wanted to make sure his friend knew THE TRUTH). My parents were concerned but also bemused.

My parents tried to convince my brother, an early skeptic, that Santa was real by reading The Polar Express to him and then giving him a “broken” sleighbell from Santa. They did not succeed.

An aunt and uncle of mine explained the Santa myth to their kids, read them The Night Before Christmas, etc., but always explained to them that Santa was a metaphor for generosity and the Christmas spirit, and emphasized charity and how rewarding it is to help other people (I think they also told them not to ruin it

Resurrecting from the dead to say that was my mother’s argument for keeping her last name - she’ll be happy to change when 50% of men marrying women switch to their wives’ last names.

Have him coordinate an escape for Lex, and then use him as a pawn, creating a suit of power that is the perfect counter for the entire league.

Sorry, I misread her age. Brain fart induced by the other part in her statement where she talks about an incident when she was 16.

Haha, I looked up her filmography on wikipedia before commenting just to confirm about Juno, and Hard Candy was indeed a film festival/limited release movie.

She was 16, still a year away from Juno, and hadn’t been in either of the previous X-Men movies. As far as I can tell it was the first movie she was in that went into wide release. I absolutely believe she thought she was powerless.

A coworker at my very first job deflected a comment the owner made about my tits to himself (which was about the most he could have done in that position), almost instinctively, and years later I’m still grateful. That’s how little it takes.

There’s a lot of room for really great and cool stuff here, though. See: Kelly’s Pictorial article. Just wander into the weird section of your local art museum’s medieval gallery and go from there.

Haha, true, though I meant it in the “she always attends in breathtaking structural masterpieces” sense as much as the burlap sack sense.
