Book. Of. Kells. Just go full Insular. I want to see illuminated PEOPLE, people!

Three words: Margaret of Antioch.

Tbh I think Madonna (or at least 80s Madonna) could actually do a pretty good job, because she was raised Catholic enough to know exactly which lines to cross.

Rihanna could pull it off. I believe in her.

The blues on that thing. All the fucking colors. *sigh*

What’s the point of flicking boogers on a stall when there’s literally a bunch of flushable tissues and a receptacle right next to you?

Sometimes the simple things (that save you from starvation) are best. I skipped a lot of meals during my post-study abroad trip, and a tiny little package of lamp-heated sausage and potatoes that got devoured on the steps of that piazza near Termini (in 35 degree weather, no less) remains one of my all-time favorites.

Yeah, I’m a fan of burned popcorn (juuuuuust enough to be a little black on the inside), but you don’t do that in an office, and you extra don’t do it at 8 AM.

The lack of boxcars in this thread is truly astounding.

Piles of clean-yet-never-folded laundry on the bed are my favorite. They’re quite comfy.

Clean & Clear makes a really good face wash that’s easily found in drugstores (you want the colorless sensitive skin one, not the orange one), as does Cetaphil.

I’m always kind of amazed when some people don’t moisturize. Like, isn’t it itchy?

There are so many stories here already, but your comment made my head go straight to that “Trigger Warning: Breakfast” comic (trigger warning is appropriate, if you haven’t seen it).

Georgetown was where Sandra Fluke was, so yeah. :/

It’s a problem w/ improper ventilation (carbon monoxide, etc), but like... it happens with other heat sources too?

I mean... Nixon was at 24% when he resigned. And 33% is still roughly 66% among Republicans (assuming a 50/50 split).

Yeah, isn’t a large part of the problem just that coal isn’t worth it anymore? All the energy companies have pivoted to fracking.

Oral herpes isn’t really an STD the way genital herpes is, it’s just regular old cold sores. It can be spread sexually, but more often it’s spread via normal skin to skin contact. You can get it from shared utensils, from a parent’s kiss goodnight, etc. It’s pretty common in young kids.
