It did not come up, mainly since we didn't really talk about the Pill.
I think even under normal circumstances it’s rare to not have a period for the whole time you're nursing if you . My periods came back regularly around the time food and not milk was the majority of their diet (so around the time they were 12 months). That’s interesting about supply drying up, though. I don’t know too…
My midwife put it to me in an interesting way at one point. I asked her about an IUD that could potentially prevent periods and asked if there was a downside to that at all. She was like “No, it’s totally fine. I mean, if you think about it, spending years and years getting a period every month isn’t typically natural…
Last one, swear to God...
Never let facts get in the way of a good story.
I have no idea.
This was the night Molly Ringwald would learn how cruel show biz could be: after the rest of the Brat Pack told her this was a costume party, she arrived dressed as a panda. They made her stand right up front for the picture. Underneath that enormous fuzzy head she’s crying.
Well... Because it's the hill with the guns on it, so they stand a fighting chance *rimshot*
This one is glorious and works really well without the caption as well for a number of situations.
This gif is awesome.
I’m pretty sure 14 hours without pumping is a torture from one of the deeper rings of Hell in Inferno. Jesus Lord...
That’s interesting. Seriously, birth is SO FUCKING WEIRD nothing would surprise me.
Ha! True. My husband joked that I shed more than our long-haired cat after I had our son. It’s been mostly fine since my daughter with the exception of ALL the baby hairs now. Jeez! It’s nuts.
Oh I forgot about the allergies! Yeah, that was weird!
I hated 3/4 of pregnancy. With my son, I was nauseous for 13 weeks, then sciatica, then back pain, then two months of awesomeness, then I could never get a full breath because he was so high up he was pressing against my lungs and I was huge in the hottest summer in NYC in, like, a decade. With my daughter I was…
Sure did. Four and a half and almost 2. You’re in for a lot of fun.
Mazel tov!
I’m actually not gonna hate on this one. If I were to guess I’m thinking even a larger study would show it doesn’t do much BUT: new and interesting research has shown that there may be more to vaginal delivery than we realized. So let's try things out to learn more and maybe benefit some bebbehs in the process.
