Good granite! This thing is around the corner from my house. Who knew it was there lurking this whole time waiting to take out people who can’t seem to navigate the largest vehicle they’ve ever driven.
These have always seemed...non-interesting to me, and I can’t say the rockets increase my interest. The price made me take a harder look, but even at $2,600, I think there’s other things I could wrench on (or throw money at) and end up with a more enjoyable final product.
That sucks that have to put up with all of that. However, I’m grateful that you have put up with it, and continue to do so. I’ve enjoyed reading posts from each of you.
Haha! Too true. I worked for some folks whose products were commodity based. It’s pretty standard across similar businesses. Management acknowledged that prices were “slick on the way up” and “sticky on the way down.” I remember thinking to myself at the time: That sucks for everybody except this business.
Honestly, I don’t think it stuck close enough to the concept. It turned out a lot closer to the Panamera than I thought it would, plus, “Taycan Turbo S” *dry heave* is almost exactly the same price as the Panamera hybrid-thingy. I don’t think it will be enough to open wallets.
