At the hospital when I was five, they told me they were going to give me 7-Up. They gave me Alka-Seltzer. Whereas if they’d told me they were gonna give me Alka-Seltzer and why I needed it there wouldn’t have been an issue. But I hold a very big grudge against those people.

Hahaha no, I went to college in Chicago and I stayed up all night long the night before I flew home to make sure all my laundry was washed and dried so my mom could not even criticize that. :) (I also stayed up to make sure I wouldn’t miss my flight; I couldn’t afford a cab and the public transportation to the airport…

Yeah, I mean, I’m not from LA, but if I were and I wanted to stay for college, I’d probably want to go to UCLA.  (I decided to leave home so my mom couldn’t ever say I came home to do laundry.)

If it was really for budget reasons they wouldn’t have been hiring in the department for the same role at the same time they fired me.

I worked for a 100,000-plus employee company and announced I was pregnant at five months (figured that gave them less time to do something nefarious). They still laid me off. “Budget reasons,” despite the fact I was the cheapest person in the department, by a long shot.
