I could never pick a favorite, but here's a random favorite:

You're right bro. He doesn't even drop the bass.

Ever since Bandai bought Namco, it's basically turned into a shit factory. A few decent sequels to established franchises have managed to keep winning formulas alive, but Namco used to be one of the very best- and consistently innovative- publishers and the earlier Ridge Racer games are still some of the best arcade

I loved watching this show as a kid, but even when I was 7- I remember thinking most of these prizes were crap. Just running around through a messy obstacle course on TV would have been enough of a prize for me.

From my perspective, these are a cool idea. I was 3 when the very first transformers toys came out in the early 80's. The cartoons and commercials were marketed to me (and every other little kid), but I was a bit too young to comprehend the more complicated transformations. I had to have my parents transform the toys

I'm sure I'm going against the grain here, but when the very first Transformers toys came out in America, I was 3. I had to have them, of course- but many of the transformation mechanics were too complicated for my stupid little baby brain. I had to pester my parents every 5 minutes to help me transform them, and it

Gorgeous. I'd like to see what he could do with a GOOD game logo!

Still a bunch of shitty launch games and HD remakes and non-exclusive indies/3rd party garbage, eh? Well, I guess a "thanks" is in order, Kotaku. Thanks for reinforcing that there's no reason to own either next-gen platform until 2015, at least :/

I also came from the future to tell you that I was right about Nintendo. 3DS eventually became awesome- but it took a year. The Wii U has been all about waiting for the good games as well. The good news is: it's totally a worthwhile system. The bad news is that it took a good year and a half to get there :/
Also,

A Gravity Rush sequel would be tasty, though...

As a Vita fan/supporter, I am of the opinion that any fans who are upset that an otherwise cancelled game is now coming out on a different platform(s) can go drown in the ocean. Get over yourselves. Square owes you nothing. You weren't ever going to get this game in English on PSP, now you've got a second chance to

I have a better idea. Sony makes a new Jumping Flash for PS4, supports the new VR helmet, and gets all my money. The end.

Watching this game being played is kind of awkward. Reminds me of Lair. I hope Miyamoto will let this game reach its potential without forcing the gimmicky controls too hard.

After the glorious Pikmin series, I trust Nintendo to make a new, accessible strategy game. I look forward to playing it.

Do the right thing and change it back, Nintendo.

Sounds like the HD version is also coming to steam. I think Sony just locked down exclusivity on console. You might as well wait for the enhanced version, since you've already waited like 15 years ;)

Such a great little system. Not sure why so many people turn their nose up at it. I had a PS2 and an original Xbox as well, and while the sheer number of titles available on PS2 was undeniable that generation- the Gamecube was chock full of amazing exclusives, I couldn't imagine not owning both systems at that point.

intents and purposes

Very cool. These were my favorite levels in Super Mario 3D World. I still want to see a proper 3D Mario adventure on the Wii U. 3D World was very good, but the forced focus on Multiplayer (and the time limit, and terrible sprinting controls) held it back from classic status in my opinion. The inventive side games like

Let's not stop there. How about HD ports of Mario Sunshine, Monkey Ball 1 and 2, Wave Race, Luigi's Mansion, MK Double Dash, and Smash Bros. Melee? I'm sure a lot of people would love to play those again. Gamecube was an under-appreciated system and Wind Waker HD proved that a lot of those games still shine.
