Amazing news. Now I don't have any reason to bring my 360 out of the closet. I'll just replay the original on Wii U whenever I get the urge.

Wow. I don't know what happened. Maybe it was just better examples of gameplay, but this looks like a much more interesting and fun game than what I saw a few months back. This game now has my full attention and definitely makes me want to get a PS4 sooner rather than later.
You also have to consider that on a Nintendo console, you're competing with tons of Nintendo software. If I were a shit-factory like Ubisoft, I wouldn't want my precious little cash cow, AssCreed 23 launching within the same year as Mario Kart or Smash Bros.
No argument, there. I agree. It's probably more for marketing purposes. People who see the name "Vita" attached to it might think it's an accessory for the Vita, and that they'll also need a Vita in order to use this.
It plays Vita games for people who don't have need for a portable console. It also streams PS4 games to other TVs in the house. At the $99 price-point, it's a cheap way to get into the Vita game library for less, plus additional features. This is a cheap device for Sony, so they only stand to gain a wider audience in…
I do love me some Grasshopper games- but based on that teaser this looks like it's online multiplayer focused. So I'll probably pass on this one. But I wish Suda success, in any case (he could use some after the last couple outings).
Well, it certainly looks like a Bungie game. That's really the nicest thing I can say about it :/
Cuphead is the clear winner here. I sure hope it's still scheduled as a multiplatform, but then again, when was the last time MS held onto anything 3rd party for more than a year? Spectra looks pretty cool, too. Like a modern day SkyRoads.
It was first announced for Steam. I have a feeling that it will launch for both Xbone and PC simultaneously and then come to all other platforms 6 months- 1 year later.
I'm so happy to see them maintaining everything that made the first one so great. I also like that they are using in-engine cutscenes. My least favorite aspect of the original was the jarring animated cutscenes that looked like something out of one of those e-surance commercials of the time.
I was referring to this and the new Platinum game. They are obviously exclusive to Xbox One.
Super cool. But I'm not falling for Microsoft's bullshit again. Lure me in with a small handful of Japanese exclusives and then pull the rug out from under me. I bought the original Xbox and the 360 early on for Japanese exclusives and then 3 years later the flow of Japanese exclusives just stops- leaving me with…
This makes me happy. I have been waiting patiently for so long...
This is pretty much the way I understand it, as well. There is too much interest in this game to see it abandoned, which is why Sony is always so quick to stomp on rumors of cancellation.
That said- the majority of fans would just love to hear an update (any update) on development. I will get over it not being on PS3.…
Buncha retro carts, I reckon. Just got shipping confirmation on my Retron 5. Super stoked :)
I'll have to take your word for it. I haven't spent enough time with this game to master the technique nor seen it used in play (online or otherwise). It does look a bit easier to pull off than snaking (hand cramp city) so maybe it's one of those things that everyone will adopt with time. But man, snaking kind of…
Seems like snaking in MKDS. It's a fun technique, but it kind of killed the longterm online playability of that game. Maybe if Nintendo patched it out of online play, but kept it in for local multiplayer, that would be a reasonable trade off.
I'm not convinced that I need this game, but this is just the latest in a series of delays that has convinced me that I'll most likely wait until 2015 before I move on to "next-gen" platforms. My PS3 and Wii U are keeping me busier than I would have imagined, anyway.
