How's the ratio of good user created content to bad? If I have to slog through 20 or more lame levels before stumbling across a good level, that's a waste of several hours. I'll take quality over quantity every time.

I never came across such a level. Mostly just a bunch of floaty jumping and switch flipping. I had such high hopes for that game and I spent weeks trying love it, but in the end, I was left with disappointment and a collection of cute little wool people and stickers. I think they made too much of the focus on user…
Yeah, that's my concern, as well. In fact- Little Big Planet is the reason for the concern. I think it was a very limited game, and the complexity of developing a comprehensive, consistent set of tools for user creation actually hampered overall game design. Even the studio-designed levels were uninspired and…
Very cool. Is this a cross-buy game? I have a Vita, but I think I'd prefer to have an actual controller for this one. I loved the first PJ Shooter, but I only got halfway through the second one due to a busy schedule. I will definitely pick this up whenever I finally get a PS4.
I dunno. More than 3, less than 10?
No, you're not a bad person. If it's coming from a reliable person/refurbisher- and you can save money on the hardware, you'd be crazy not to buy used. Besides- you'll be giving money to Nintendo on the software you purchase/download in the coming years. The Wii U is a great little system. Enjoy :)
Whaaaaat? I had no idea they were making a new Deception. Since I'm now waiting on a South Park patch/price-drop, this game just became a day-one purchase. Very cool.
Fez is being boycotted by crybabies on all PlayStation platforms on March 25.
Sounds like Echochrome.
Ahhhh. Ok, that makes a lot more sense. I have a standard 3DS and it's definitely not the most comfy handheld ever, but since I only play it at home or in a hotel, I'm able to more easily compensate for comfort over actual playability on the go.
Wait, so the 3DSXL is the most uncomfortable gaming device you've ever used, so you recommend a link to a 3DSXL? Would you say the original 3DS or 2DS is any better for comfort?
Glad you like them, but I hate them. I wish I could turn them off altogether. They add no value to my gaming experience and add nothing but distraction on the periphery. I like hidden/unlockable CONTENT in a game, and I will go out of my way to explore and challenge myself in order to win access new content.…
Guess we need a new list: "Worst Games To Play With A Friend" :)
This. I recently went to a video game night house party and this game became the centerpiece of the whole evening. Screaming. Passing controllers. Two couches and multiple chairs filled with spectators/combatants. This game is my new Smash Bros.
Solid list. As a fan of singleplayer games, I have to agree with many of the singleplayer games listed here. Great to watch and pass controller back and forth. Quality co-op choices, too. Katamari is another good game series to play with a pal or two.
Ewww, no!
Completely agree. I wish there was an opt-out setting. I don't want to look at them, I don't want to see my friends', I don't want any notification of any kind. Trophies/Achievements are among the worst things in modern gaming to me. They actively bring me out of a game and remind me that I'm playing a game for some…
This is a PS3 article (as in- they are specifically asking for the best of PS3 for each respective year). Bioshock definitely deserves mention, but for accuracy sake- it should be posted under the thread for 2008 ;)
