God, I almost forgot about that. Probably the coolest thing Google has ever done/will ever do.
G-Darius is definitely one of my top 5 shooters of the 32/64-bit era. It's a fantastic game in the Darius series, and probably the best one that ever came to home consoles (the arcade versions of the original Darius and Darius 2 never made a proper transition to home consoles, since the arcade version had a giant…
I completely agree. In fact all of the games mentioned in the above discussion are great precisely because of their obscene- but ultimately conquerable- level of challenge- while maintaining a high level of fun throughout the game. I think the only thing I disagreed with you on is the assertion that Parodius Da! is a…
I respect your opinion, too- BUT I HATE EVERY SINGLE THING THAT YOU LOVE!
;)
Seriously though, it is kind of funny that the guy who hates all of Obsidian's previous games is excited to play the new one, while the guy who loves all their previous games has already decided to skip their new game altogether.
Sooooooo hard! But beatable! I'm a big fan of old-school platformers, and even for me that game is tough. It's not as hard as Ghosts N' Goblins or the original Ninja Gaiden- but thankfully it gives you unlimited continues (just like Gn'G and NG) so the frustration is balanced :)
I loved the first KotOR, hated the sequel. I wasn't a very big fan of Fallout 3, but I assumed (incorrectly) that there would be a lot of improvement with the sequel (I stopped playing after about 8 or 9 hours), and I think Alpha Protocol was an all-around pile of poo. I was glad to have only borrowed the latter two…
I'm a Southpark fan and an RPG fan. I absolutely HATE Obsidian's previous games which I have played, so I'm actually curious/interested in this game specifically BECAUSE it's different than their other games.
I just played through it for the first time (actual cartridge) about a year and a half ago and I have to say that I totally disagree about the difficulty. As far as shooters go, its one of the easiest for beginners. I recommend the Thunderforce series as well as M.U.S.H.A. and GleyLancer (all on Genesis, available on…
As an artist, I can tell you that it's not a coincidence :)
A lot of us saw the tablet gamepad w/stylus along with picture/note messaging on Miiverse as a major selling point. I always hated bringing up the clunky digital keyboard on PS3/360 just to message a friend. The simplicity of an easily shared online doodle pad…
No Big Boo, either :(
This is what I thought of too :3
August 4 feels sooooooooo far away. I want this game so bad.
Are we going to get a bunch of articles complaining that this game is too violent to share with our girlfriends/wives/moms?
Well that's what Youtube playthroughs are for ;)
Agreed. However, I'm not too worried about Capy. They are talented people, and I'm sure they've been paid A LOT for timed exclusivity by MS :)
I'm intrigued. When it inevitably moves to another platform, I'll be sure to buy it :)
I think you mean MC Dead Dog.
I loved Fez. It was worth the wait, so I really hope we don't have to wait another 5 years to play this one ;)
I'm pretty happy that Retro isn't making a new Metroid. I liked the first Prime, but honestly, I got pretty tired of the series and I had more fun playing Fusion/Zero Mission on the GBA. I know that Other: M was a dud, but I still think a 3rd person platformer/exploration themed Metroid can work under the right…
