The bob-omb is cute, but I've seen them online elsewhere for under ten bucks.

Yeah, and it's not just the quality that they can't match. They can't compete with the existing fanbase, either.
I can kind of understand where EA is coming from. Nintendo inspires a passion in gamers with their brand, and when you make the kind of games that EA does, it's practically impossible to compete with the level of quality that a typical first party Nintendo title will offer. I own a Wii U myself, and the only EA games…
Agreed. But I'm still willing to give this one a chance.
The Saturn had some amazing games, as well- but it was marketed so poorly in the US and most of the great games were left in Japan for some inexplicable reason. Bernie Stolar was head of Sega of America during it's time in the mid-to-late 90's and he took all the success in North America that Sega had won with the…
The spec sheet said the aux out is used to connect the new PS Eye (or whatever they're calling it).
That's too bad, I like having options. Also, my stereo doesn't have HDMI inputs, so I use the HDMI out to connect my PS3 to the TV- and i use the composite out to run the audio from the PS3 direct to the stereo. I guess I'll have to find an alternate split to my stereo receiver, because I'm not buying a new receiver…
I was just trying to communicate in a language that suits you.
ZOMG BRO! LIK IN DA FIRST PLAYCE YOUR STUPID. IF NE1 IS TRYNA ARGUE ITS U. FOR SERIOUS????
Super Mario 3D Land is, indeed, one of the best 3DS games. However, this is the Wii-U, and Nintendo made it sound like we were going to see a follow up to a real, console 3D Mario game, along the lines of Mario Galaxy, Sunshine, or 64. This kind of looks like a rush job HD remake of Super Mario 3D Land with tacked on…
Well the original poster was very clearly talking about console showdowns at E3, and as I said: the Jaguar was never really in competition with another next gen console, nor was it a major presence at E3.
As far as I can see, the only comparison you're making is that the Jaguar and Xbone both suck. Which is true... but…
You're thinking of the Saturn. The Dreamcast had an amazing launch, a year headstart on Sony's PS2, and was a hundred dollars less. The Saturn failed in the marketplace, but the Dreamcast had it's plug pulled prematurely by Sega of America- not due to poor sales, but because Microsoft, EA, and Peter Moore were trying…
There was never an E3 console reveal for the Jaguar, and it didn't really launch in direct competition with another major console back in 1993. Jaguar was pretty much over and done with by the time the E3 convention started in 1995.
This is pretty much the most exciting exclusive game I've seen come out of E3 this year. Sure, all the attention is on the new hardware (understandably so)- but none of the new exclusive game reveals on either xbone or PS4 are really anything I can get excited over (multiplatform titles like Mirror's Edge 2 and MGSV…
Well if you read my comment again, you'll see that I clearly admitted that I was actually wrong in my original prediction. I'm just saying that based on that initial prediction- the eventual announcement of a multiplatform release isn't surprising.
I'm going to buy this for my Wii U :)
I'm not gonna lie. I'm disappointed. I want a real, all-new 3D Mario adventure, not a sequel to a streamlined 3DS game :/
I mean, sure- it's definitely better than that New Super Mario Bros. garbage, but it's also not fair (or it's at least dishonest) to hype this as the follow-up to Mario Galaxy.
I predicted that the game would come to both PS3 and 360 about 2 years ago. When the game was nowhere to be seen, I then assumed that it was being delayed until the next generation. Now that I see it's coming to both next gen platforms, I'm not surprised at all.
Good to know, thanks for the info :)
