I am dying over here! Sooooo good XD

It's a shame that PS4 Golden didn't also come to PS3.

Not if you already played/own it. It's a great game, but it's not better than Saga, and it doesn't solve OP's dilemma.

Panzer Dragoon Orta is not the same thing as Panzer Dragoon Saga. That game costs over $200 used because of it's scarcity. Orta can be found for around $10 on ebay.

Damn... those visuals look so nice. The music is in sync with the rest of the series, as well. But that gameplay looks so dull. It's a shame, really. I'm just about the biggest PD fan around (I even bought the 99 cent Crimson Dragon game on windows phone)- but even I have to admit that this looks like a total waste of

I think you misspelled crayfish.

Number 4. Isn't the South Park RPG largely modeled on 16-bit JRPGs? Wouldn't that technically be a western-developed JRPG?

Maybe these changes will make a perfect game even better. A lot of people were afraid that Dark Souls would ruin Demon's Souls formula. Turns out Dark Souls was still really awesome. Maybe small and incremental evolutions and refinements will make this new game even better. You don't know yet, so settle down and save

I'll keep my fingers crossed that something comes of this. Honestly, it seems like there's a very real possibility of it happening. EA owns Criterion. EA is in the midst of rebooting a lot of franchises (Hot Pursuit and SSX come to mind) and there is legitimate interest from gamers and the developer (Criterion)

Well obviously you're not alone. The game really resonated with almost everybody who played it. A true classic that was way ahead of it's time :)

I heard a rumor probably two years ago that Criterion (of Burnout series fame) was building up a series reboot of Road Rash. Of course once EA bought them, they were assigned the task of rebooting the Need For Speed series instead. But I do believe that Criterion is interested in rebooting Road Rash- so hopefully they

Agreed on all counts :)

Hahahahaha!!!!

When he opened the box, were the rocks in sexually explicit positions?

Aaaaaaaand hearted (damn I miss the heart/follow function on Kotaku, now). I think the two games' audiences were just too segregated by their respected platforms. Back then most people either gamed on a console OR a PC, and seldom did any games cross the void. I bet that a lot of Herzog players missed out on Dune and

I don't know, man- I think the fact that you're willing to debate this point of contention reveals not only that you're just as serious as me- but that you also agree with his original assertion- (even though you're certain it's a joke). I think you just iced every layer of this cake with ironic frosting.

Thanks for getting my back. I love the Westwood games, but I think it's pretty ridiculous to deny the influence of Herzog Zwei and then preemptively call anyone a snob who (correctly) states that it came first. Whatever. Luke obviously never played Herzog Zwei.

Nope :)

Dismissing an earlier game and calling the fans snobs in your opening sentence of an article about another game in said genre is the greater irony.

"Snobs will try and bring up Herzog Zwei".
