Well at least it's a backward compatible title. I played through it last year, and it totally holds up. Anyone who wants it can buy it on ebay for under $10 (and they should absolutely do so!)

And in other news, laser beams just downloaded his first game for his Windows phone :)
Oh snap! This is one of my favorite games of the generation. It was sadly overlooked on the Wii, and even though the Vita has a very limited audience currently- I hope it finds a bunch of new fans on this new platform.
In cutscenes, the PS3 version seems much more detailed (maybe the 360's anti-aliasing is working against this game's visual style) but in gameplay footage, the two look identical. Maybe the cutscenes use higher texture res on PS3 because of memory limitations? That seems unlikely, really. I guess the game looks great…
Done and done :)
Haven't listened to this in yeeeears :)
Hopefully this is just Murphy's police uniform that he wears until Clarence Boddicker and his gang shoot him up. If this is the design for the actual Robocop costume, though...
I've been playing all retro games for the past couple weeks. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun with video games. The Sega Genesis has been brought out, thoroughly cleaned, and I even found my old Mega Key converter. I busted out all my imports and played through Panorama Cotton, Elemental Master,…
He can't grow one, obviously. Beard envy.
I remember it was confirmed around E3 that it would be backward compatible with Wii only. No Gamecube support- which is unfortunate but not too surprising since the newer models of Wii no longer support Gamecube games anymore either :(
Oh man- this guy kills me. I remember his Smash Bros. Brawl/Toys R Us rant video and how I nearly died laughing. The guys in these videos are comedians, but the people they impersonate are very real (and they can be found all over kotaku).
Awesome. Thanks for the update :)
Glad I pre-ordered mine on Thursday then :)
Yeah, I guess it's disappointing for those who don't want to buy a Wii U, but the outrage from gamers across the web is embarrassing to be quite frank. The fact that the game is even being made at all is something of a miracle. I can understand the disappointment, but people who loved the first Bayonetta should at…
Well the original No More Heroes was published by Ubisoft, a third party. Bayonetta 2 is now being published by Nintendo, making it a first party title. I wouldn't count on seeing it on any other platforms. All the other titles you mentioned are third party-published titles as well. Unless there is an exclusivity…
Platinum isn't publishing the game, Nintendo is. Platinum didn't publish the first game, either...
Sega still owns the publishing rights to the first Bayonetta game. The character and creative license, however, is still the property of Platinum games. Sega dumped Platinum games while they were making the sequel and Nintendo picked up the ball and proceeded to fund the completion of the game (as well as…
Ditto.
Platinum gets paid either way. If you aren't buying a Wii U, you were never going to get a chance to play this anyway.
The No More Heroes PS3/360 port is total garbage, unfortunately :(
