PS3 is lead platform, but they are developing for both simultaneously. The end result will be a game that looks and performs 99% identical on both platforms, just like Platinum's last action game, Vanquish, was. :D

Kojima already said he's begun planning the proper MGS5. So the people who are hating on this game are either uninformed (and therefore may be afraid that this is some kind of series reboot like Castlevania: Lords of Shadow or DmC) or are colossally obnoxious and immature. This is a lousy situation for both players and Polytron. But as someone who bought the game before the patch and who has continued to play it after the patch, I am relieved that the game works fine for me (better than before, even) and I still think it's an incredible game. Heinous.

Not a real concern for me. I only buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games (and third party exclusives). If I need to play any new high-end games, I'll probably be doing it on a PC/PS4/etc. when the time comes. I'm still very interested in the Wii U, even if it isn't the most powerful gaming platform.
