Man, it got delayed again?? Bummer :(

Yeah, like the Transformers movies!

"So, if you had to make a movie of one series, you'd pick Master Chief over Nathan Drake, right?"

Yeah, I liked the original Resident Evil and it's sequel, but I didn't really care for any of the others after that. I felt like Capcom ran out of ideas long before 4 came out, and while I thought 4 was a great looking game (especially for it's time)- I always felt like it was stuck in an awkward place in between

For me: everything. The story was pretty cool, and it was nice seeing Suda's style in glorious HD- but playing the game was a chore. The character moved like a slug on fly paper, the gunplay was clunky and tiresome, and it basically wanted to be a fast paced action shooter with outdated Resident Evil controls. I

Different strokes for different folks.

Definitely pick it up! I just grabbed it on Sunday and I'm having a ball. I loved the original on Gamecube, as well- but the upscaled, 16x9 visuals and motion controls really work well to make it one of the prettier games on the Wii, and in my opinion it's the pinnacle of the genre. I think it's better than the first

I don't think it's cheating at all. In fact, that was the only way I was able to properly "beat" the original Pikmin game. It made my playthrough a lot less surprising and stressful and after getting the bad ending, all I wanted to do for my next playthrough was do it all the right way so I could get the good ending.

I loved both Pikmin games. I had more fun exploring and pushing the boundaries in 2 though, because I was less stressed out. However I felt more driven to succeed in the first game due to the time limit, a greater sense of achievement, and maybe I felt like the time limit made me play smarter. However I think what

Sounds like I'll probably enjoy it enough- although I definitely did not enjoy Shadows of the Damned. The gameplay in that title was too... crappy for me to have fun while playing. A mindless hack n slash will probably be easier for me to settle in and enjoy the strange humor and story. It's a bummer I missed out on

I'll just say this: you are missing out on Platinum's games.

This is amazing.

LOL. Good analogy. Pikmin has never had online multiplayer, and it's single player mode has always been the draw. It's not like Nintendo made any announcement about online multiplayer for this game, so I'm not sure why this comes as a shocking disappointment. At the end of the day- if people want to play an online

I was not expecting online, nor was I interested in online in the first place. It will not be missed by me at all. I can't wait for this game! Glad it has been confirmed as a launch title :)

Actually the original version that you're talking about was pretty much all destructible environments and slicing watermelons... and nothing else. Most of the really cool stuff was a non-playable cinematic sequence. According to Kojima Productions, none of their real time playable demo really evolved into any tangible

These LEGO sets are awesome and all- but they are waaaaay too expensive. Also- when did the playsets become so popular? Seems like the uniform colors and pieces would kind of limit the creative possibilities. I guess a set this large is more flexible than others, but still... When I was a kid, we just got big buckets

Yeah, I thought so. Wanted to see if anyone else thought so, too. It's kind of pointless to make a comparison so early based on this low-quality footage. :/

Looks pretty samey to me. Also, is there a glitchy light patch on the WiiU screen, or is this off-screen camera footage? Seems kind of ridiculous to compare direct feed game footage with with footage taken from a camera pointed at a monitor. I fully expect the WiiU version to look better, but lets at least wait for

I know that, but this delay is unrelated.

Totally agree. Although I do love the MGS series, I also feel that Platinum represents a distinctly modern and thoroughly Japanese developer of the highest quality. They are a breath of fresh air, and it makes me so happy that this spin-off game was given to them rather than a crappy western development studio (as so
