That Game Gear painting is just wonderful. If anyone happens across the artist, please give them a high five from me :)

I walked into a Gamestop today and picked it up. I didn't even have a preorder for it.

Nope, it was only released on the Gamecube in the US. The Wii got the New Play Control version of the first Pikmin game a few years ago, but they never brought the Wii version of the sequel over to the US before today. They decided to release it under the Nintendo Selects label so it would be more attractive at a low

I don't have any of the photoshop skills or the fancy paper, sadly. If you know where I can find a suitable fan-made cover, please let me know, though :)

Oooo tough choice though, I will always have a place in my heart for the music in the Underground Caverns, as well. Sexy, catchy, late night tune. I don't know that I would call either tune a definitive "Castlevania song" but they are still my personal favorites all the same :)

Now playing

Oh man, good call! I just wrapped up my annual playthrough of Symphony of the Night and while I love every track in that game, I always have been entranced by the haunting beauty of the music that plays in Olrox's Quarters. Every year, I find myself stopping and just letting the tune loop for like 15 minutes when I

Just picked up Pikmin 2 this afternoon. At only $20 it's a steal- and upscaled, 16x9 visuals and alternate controls makes it more than worthwhile. For anyone who's wondering: sadly, there's no alternate cover art on the reverse of the case liner, so if you don't have a copy of the Gamecube version to swap covers with-

I meant the idea that someone would have to buy a compatible tablet computer or smart phone to properly make use of its functionality. That's hardly what I'd call free for anyone except for the very few people who already have compatible devices- and the extremely limited user base will ensure that very few games will

It just seemed like a general waste of time, this year. Very few new games, and unusually high amounts PR BS from the usual suspects. Tons of great games got almost no exposure from their publishers and the platform holders seemed like they couldn't decide whether they wanted to focus on games or media connectivity

Reminds me of how much it hurt when I lost my favorite cat, too. I know your pain, and I hope you feel better soon. The memories will live forever :)

That's just the first one announced. If you don't think Snake, AssCreed, and maybe a few Capcom characters aren't already on the way, you are in denial...

Agreed. I'm not interested in the Sony one, either- and Sony actually has a significant stable of strong characters. Unfortunately, Sony is relying too much on 3rd party, non-exclusive characters instead of focusing only on Sony franchises. I can only imagine that MS would have even fewer unique characters to draw

Not as impressive as Waverace 64.

They're pictures from E3 games I can't wait to get my hands on, eh?

Fantastic! Thanks for responding to my question, I'm off to download it right now :)

Agreed.

This game looks totally awesome and fun. So far, I'm most interested in Pikmin 3 and this game. Not just for WiiU, but for this year's E3 in general :)

Eh... I don't know about this one. It seems like they had a bunch of ideas for new games but couldn't bother committing time and financial resources into full-length games, so they slap-dash converted them into mini-games. Kind of a let-down since I would be all over a new Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, F-Zero, or

Nice! I don't like having to bust out my Dreamcast to play Last Blade (or my MAME-modded Xbox)- so this is a must-buy for me. Plus I know it'll be future compatible with WiiU's virtual console as well. Can anyone confirm whether this game has customizable buttons- or is it just a straight port of the arcade game?
