Actually, considering that they already have a completed 360 version- I'm pretty sure that they are doing a port of that version. It sounds like this game is going to be an identical port of the 360 version, in fact. Since this game did not enjoy a simultaneous console/PC development cycle, it's a lot harder to alter

It all sounds so easy until you actually make a game yourself ;)

"I mean, if it's the same exact thing being offered on consoles, why even buy the PC version?"

Did you like Out of This World, Flashback, the original Prince of Persia, or the first two Oddworld games? It seems like this game has similar gameplay to those titles, which I admit aren't for everyone (Those games were hard as hell). Too early to tell, I suppose- but at least we know there will be a free demo :)

PC-only gamers pledge huge support for a console-only title to be ported to their platform of choice only to moan and complain about a lack of optimization- despite the fact that the game is awesome to begin with and the fact that this re-release is going to have a ton of additional content. Master race my ass.

Have you never played a sidescrolling platformer?

This looks fun as hell :)

Oh man, I don't think I can ever play a football game other than Tecmo Super Bowl. Bo Jackson is a beast! :D

Gotcha. I think the most recent baseball game I played was SNK's Baseball Stars 2 :)

Not trying to be a jerk, or anything- but can't 360 baseball fans just play any number of existing baseball games? I mean the system has plenty of them already. I'm not really a sports gamer, so the only sports games I play are at least 10 years old, and some of them are over 20 years old.

This and Pikmin 3 are easily the most exciting games of the show for me, so far... honorable mention goes to Project P-100 :) Can't wait to play this.

I'm sure it will be fine if you play it with the pro controller. Didn't the old games have you rotating the camera with L/R buttons? because I wouldn't mind going back to that kind of control scheme for this kind of game. Shooters have made the right stick the standard for camera control, even in games that wouldn't

ugggh- that's my nightmare. I literally have the 360 on an elevated pedestal with at least 12 inches (or more) of clearance on all sides. I just know it's going to overheat and kill itself any minute :(

No way, bro. SNES was SUPER confusing!

It doesn't really matter to me, I kind of agree with his answer. My Wii stands upright, but when I move it, I often set it up laying flat, instead. The only system of mine that distinctly seems meant for upright orientation is my old 60GB 360. That damn thing is so loud, I swear it's going to have an asthma attack. I

I would hope Ringo Starr (you misspelled his name, though). That guy is a hoot :)

Sad but true.

Gears of War 3 practically played itself on "normal". Very disappointing. Still looking forward to more Gears, though. For co-op fun, it's still one of the best series around.

;) I see what you did there...

Well that's a relief.
