“ Rivian originally said its R1T would be able to do a tank turn, but it was scrapped after the company determined it could cause too much damage to trails.”

A floating island.....I guess Congressman Hank Johnson was not so crazy after all.
I was more impressed by the airport. How many horses does it take to pull a plane off the ground?
Sorry to see you guys leave. As someone who has been around here long enough to remember Murilee Martin (he is a guy!) and lots more inside jokes I think this is the final straw. I think Jalopnik has moved on without me and many others. Good luck gentlemen, I have appreciated your humor and knowledge.
Ha! typed faster than my brain processed. Although VTECH could still be the answer.....
VTech
Surprisingly little space for such a long hood. Its only “mid-engined” because they stretched the front out so far! They had a link to pictures in the comment section of the video. Apologies if picture is duplicated. Kinja.....
So.....that design is really it huh? No sleight of hand with the production version looking normal? Geez....You would think with the Ford and Rivian models out (or coming out) that Elon would dial it back at bit. He is not first to market anymore.....
This is still more entertaining than having the car salesperson walk you through it. Doug may not be for everybody but he seems like a genuine enthusiast so props for that.
A comprehensive “bumper-to-bumper” review.
Depending on how the conversation is framed with the union, shouldn’t they use total compensation? In the image above (of the paycheck) I see another $3700 being contributed to pension and 401K. These are listed as “John Deere’s” contribution so I assume it is all additive and not a portion of the $39k shown.
Not that it had anything to do with the crank failure but brother, that bike could use a cleaning......
“It will be trouble free, maintenance free. It will not be a thought that enters your mind.”
May be an unpopular opinion but the real answer is the Honda Odyssey. Not a lot of ground clearance but it does surprisingly well if you take your time. I have taken one camping for 8 years and often pass the Jeep crews on the fire roads. Enough space to pack everything and you can sleep in it if the weather takes…

I spoke with a runner who is the American 6 day record holder (ran 600+ plus miles in 6 days) and he DNF’d when he did it as well.
The trash pickup is basically everyone picking up parts of other peoples cars.....circle of life.
That area of TN is supposed to be pretty remote. There is a documentary on a “marathon” (although the actual course is 100 miles....) that takes place in the same area.
“Well, it’s clear to me that the new fan is adding more load to the engine, but would this cause the motor to stall when sitting at a stop light? Not likely.”
