you don't think it's more expensive to develop a call of duty game were the detail is hundredfold over a game from 1996? Do you think texture artists work and travel for free?
Such is life when your business is indexing, storing copies of, and serving to people stuff that doesn't belong to you. It's ok to do it, just do it within the rules.
even the kids that are just doing what they have been raised to do?
That's interesting. Throughout 4 years of studying ethics of war, I have never come across anyone with any extensive knowledge of history, logic, philosophy, or common sense for that matter, refer to anyone who politicizes tragedy as an "asshole." In fact it is the opposite. Tragedy SHOULD be brought to the forefront…
Congrats. Why are you posting here?
Completely not true. Hulu is the worst offender.
It's difficult to bring games that have been in development for almost 3 years or more to a system where most developers didn't have access to the development kits until 6 months ago.
Because data storage is expensive? Because people don't crop? Because people never return to photos and make adjustments? Because screens aren't doubling in resolution?
Your example was a guy fired from Apple... well... duh.
Love how Apple tries to 3D render major cities all around the world and provide this for free to users, and gets criticized because a a few bridges, towers, or monuments out of thousands don't render properly.
A human-shaped robot would be the last thing I would build. First would be spider. Scare the shit out of the enemy first. Then maybe a Barracuda!!! WOOOOOO!
They were giving it away for free at first.
"you end up being stuck with what is the best available in your area."
yeah.. I'm sure the case did this.
I know of 3 incidental Android users that were compelled to pick up the iPhone 5 after its launch. I haven't been convinced enough to buy it (4 is ok with me), but something has drawn them. I know it's not tech specs, I'm pretty aware outside the Gizmodo world, not a single person cares how many gigamajigs their phone…
If Delta DOESN'T follow it, people suffer. That's why we have these laws.
what are you talking about
If you are going that big, why not carry a full usb hard drive. it's 9.99 because it's huge and ugly. Point of the article is the compactness. Yeah.. we know we can get large USB keys cheap. Thanks.
London in Canada? I was just there.
