On the one hand it’s not a surprise because SF5 was basically a cosmetic microtransaction simulator, but it’s also a bummer to see because SF6 had such a stellar launch and this kind of shit just reinforces that to some extent it’s still just business as usual.

I’m pretty sure a legion of talentless nobodies didn’t get rich and famous from being followed by millions of teenagers on a streaming platform back in the 70's. There have always been demagogues and assholes but it’s hard to deny that social media’s reach has amplified it way beyond a comfortable level and created a

I feel like it’s a very long and very large bubble and not sure it’s close to bursting.

Yeah, but is delivery from Uber Eats and Postmates dying at a similar rate? It’s expensive too and the delivery drivers usually don’t have two brain cells to rub together.

Absolutely everything you just said was wrong, but I’ll allow for different tastes.

Q and Necro are actually interesting choices. Twelve not so much.

I would argue that a lot of people on the right aren’t even all that bothered by the word Nazi.

That does sound kinda fun but I’m not quite to the lightning helm yet. :/

++Lightning.

It would be more useful if the horse didn’t have to be nearby for it to even work. I get what they’re going for, and in theory riding the horse is a great way to move around and see everything, but I think the whole stable bullshit is something that should’ve stayed in BOTW. And I don’t think the horse is much fun to

I don’t know. Seemed pretty par for the course for teaser trailers to me.

I mean, when you’re considering him in a conversation that includes people like Jefferson, Lincoln, and FDR, you kind of have to admit that there’s a big respectability and accomplishment gap. The dumb cunt couldn’t even acknowledge a pandemic until he was absolutely forced to.

I think the conventions for Star Wars and Star Trek and stuff like that cost a decent amount because they have to fly the actors and other creative types out for it, but I can’t imagine why BlizzCon would be a similar story. I think Star Wars Celebration was around $250 last time I did it. Only thing I can think is

My friend worked in creative for Dreamworks and is now with Disney and any time we see a movie we sit through the entire credits sequence. I’ve never quite asked him why because I’m worried it’ll sound like I’m annoyed, but I’ve always assumed it’s out of respect for everyone who worked on the film.

I wouldn’t get on anything that goes underwater unless it was like a nuclear submarine or something operated by actual professionals. And even then I wouldn’t.

Why are you surprised that the vast majority of us aren’t educated on such a niche topic?

It’s certainly a weird season not to be dropping at least a new map, especially after neutering their PvE plans a few weeks ago.

Lots of luck exploiting Lord of the Rings. I feel like that’s a franchise that’s been seeing diminishing returns for years now. The Hobbit movies were middling, the games haven’t been setting the world on fire, and it feels like the Amazon TV series was completely upstaged by House of the Dragon.

I would argue that the 2D platforming wasn’t even that great. I mean, if you’re running through a level at breakneck speed, how do you even respond to things like enemies and obstacles? I know that technically it works as a game and obviously there are the parts where you slow down and sort of work the level like a
