There was a group of people (or maybe just one person) that was working on a version of the series that used the DVD video and spliced in the original music whenever possible. I know they got through a couple seasons, but I don't know if they ever finished the series.

I thought a live-action Daria was a good idea, and then CollegeHumor did that fake trailer with Aubrey Plaza and it was terrible.
