Nah. The Cyber Truck shows how manufacturers can efficiently plug and play new bodies onto their skateboard platforms to reach niche markets or raise awareness about the brand. I think Tesla must release it.

The Audi GT will probably be a closer competitor to the Model S in terms of price.

Neutral:

Oh, I never had a problem with the black piece.

Hey designers! Ya boss? We need to refresh the Camaro!

FR-S owner here.

As discussed before and validated by many engineers, the break-in period primarily exists as an extra layer of insurance for the manufacturer in the event that the engine wasn’t put together correctly. There will be far less damage if you are driving around under 3k and notice a problem than driving at redline. and a

Were the interior designers not told it was mid engine and doesn’t need a big central tunnel?

Huh? Homo is the genus of the human species. I assume they are referring to some evolution of Homo Sapiens.

Because the GT350 or SS-1LE exist.

I’m curious about the staying power of the car. After the 1st or 2nd year of production, will people have gotten tired because it isn’t special or unique enough (being a BMW CLAR vehicle underneath), or is it stylish and good enough to always wow people, and will other variants with more power help to keep it relevant

My uninformed take:

I don’t think Jalopnik covered it, but Toyota did quietly update the 2019 Prius...

Oh, for sure. At that point it would be up to Sony and Micro to write in their licensing agreements that 4K60 is the minimum for all titles.

I guess I’m thinking in terms of comparing it to Jaguar. Anandtech suggested the current Ryzen 2xxx chips are at least 4 times faster core-for-core.

True that it isn’t’ do or die. They have the money to keep the Xbox Division going for years, as evidence by the billions they are throwing around to buy up companies. But I’m thinking a lot in terms of how the base Xbox units perform, or don’t. I also think that “numbers” will be increasingly important as they try to

Keep in mind that the Xbox One X has a RX 480 (a 2016 era card) equivalent GPU and is doing close to 4K in several titles.

I would think with a mix of premium, entry, and streaming, they would cover a spread from $300~500; and with an “updated” PS4 super slim with a Ryzen CPU coming in at $200.

I agree with you. Navi is set to launch in a few months, so it’ll be ready for an early 2020 launch. People have also suggested that the delay of Navi’s launch is tied to manufacturing demand from Sony and Microsoft.

The lifespans issues you hear about are from enterprises that access the drives 24/7 or people who have early generation SSDs. A modern SSD in a consumer rig will take several decades before problems start to crop up. Even in enterprise solutions, modern SSDs can last a decade. The tech has come a looong way.
