Are you British? I’ve never heard the term “in good nick” but that’s an excellent one.

My favorite royal family, hands down, is the Grimaldis, the royal family of Monaco. I wish someone would do a “The Crown” treatment on them. Or maybe someone has, and if anyone could point me in the right direction...I’ve actually been to Monaco several times but never had a royal run-in, much to my everlasting regret.
I never knew that. I always had a soft spot for Edward because we’re almost exactly the same age and there were all these rumors that he’s gay. On what evidence I don’t know. I remember teen gayboy me thinking, “Wow, what if I met Edward and we hit it off?!”
Joan Collins was born in 1933. It is her children who are the Baby Boomers/Gen X-ers.
My husband has been streaming “Dynasty” reruns lately. We’ve been together so long we used to watch it together in its later seasons when it first came out. The clothing budget for the women must have been astronomical. In every episode Joan Collins or Linda Evans or Diahann Carroll, basically everyone, just sort of…
Apparently Barf Bag will be back, they’re hiring some new writers.
The minute the Queen dies I believe all bets are off. Charles (King Charles III, if he chooses to style himself that way) is going to pare all of this way back. Andy and Fergie can retreat to Verbier and live in somewhat exile, like the Duke and Duchess of Windsor in the Bois de Boulogne. Assuming they’ll want to stay…
We haven’t really seen Andrew and Edward yet, they were small children. I don’t think this is a spoiler. Have you gotten to the episode where they watch the moon landing? IRL Andrew would have been 9 and Edward 5. And then they kind of disappear, and it ends in 1977. Andrew would have been 17 and Edward 14 but they’re…
Norfolk has a lot of good ones. I once went here, but allow me to let wiki explain:
That’s Spitalfields, a neighbo(u)rhood in London’s East End.
I’ve been commenting and receiving replies all over the place (mostly “The Crown”- and Luann de Lessups-related, see my unhinged recent history) but it’s only in this post can I neither pull a commenter out of the grays nor reply.
To all:
The Housewives travel a lot (God knows how much this is costing Bravo and all the sponcon contributors.)
I love the Philadelphia Gayborhood but haven’t been down there in a while. Is Woody’s still around? I think that place has beeen around a long time. I first went there in the late 80s and the last time I went, maybe five years ago, there it still was!
Oh she did? I just rewatched that two-parter recently (well, about a year ago) and was surprised to see that Alex McCord was there, I thought she had already left the show, and that Sonja Morgan was there, I thought she’d joined later.
To quote a Jezebel commenter, which one I can’t remember, Aunt Becky is now starring in a very special Hallmark Classic, “When Calls The Subpoena Server.”
When I got laid off part of the (very generous) severance was job counseling with a very respected firm that does this.
Indulge me while I revisit the past.
Only 2 comments concerning our beloved Crackerjacks? (That is a very old Gawker-era reference. Richard Lawson’s RHONY recaps were the best.)
That’s not what he does in Season 3; he does something worse in terms of the monarchy being a respected, centuries-old institution. I wouldn’t be surprised if his “gaffes” come up in Season 4. So far you feel nothing but sympathy for everyone, save for a couple of misgivings you might have for a couple of things that…
