Make me think he is in a hotel room, took off his pants to have a poop, and is now wandering around eating cold French fries and watching the Weather Channel, as you do....
Courtney Love for American Girl dolls.
Marilyn Manson for Build-A-Bear Workshop.
The best thing about that is the dog looks so PLEASED with itself!
Agreed. Yes, fashion changes, but well-made basics (which J. Crew was once known for), do not go out of style. That’s why you buy a gorgeous pair of silver earrings at Tiffany and crazy beaded necklaces at BaubleBar. I wish I could buy a good suit and blouse at J. Crew and wear it for ten years, but I know anything…
True enough, but if you’ve gotta cut costs so dramatically that quality is going to seriously suffer, you need to also rethink your design and marketing (and pricing) strategy accordingly. I mean you don’t need an MA in merchandising to know that there’s a very limited number of people willing to pay two hundred bucks…
“Wall Street takes at least three years to recognize that a once-popular retailer who made their name producing relatively affordable well-made basics will tank when they flip off their customer base and shift to weird unflattering trendoid pieces of shitty quality and astronomical prices.”
Oh, boo. You’re wrong. You can get amazing pizza in Britain if you venture away from Pizza Hut or Dominos etc, just like everywhere else in the world. You can also get shitty pizza in Italy. I had an incredible pizza that came close to some I’ve had in Italy just this weekend in Manchester.
Corn is involved. The defense rests. I am not british either.
“the British understanding of pizza is problematic”
We don’t actually boil it, or cut the crusts off, or dunk it in cups of tea.
Those are myths. Mean ones.
Of course, we have to remember that the British understanding of pizza is problematic.
Yeah, since I moved to Washington from Southern California, Mexican food has been VERY hit or miss. Chipotle is at least consistent!
