I just saw another one this morning that was a homophobic response to one of your comments in the Irish Skeleton In the Tree Roots thread. Are you dismissing him?

That is an excellent hypothesis and one that I’ve never heard before (and believe me, I spend WAY too much time reading DA recaps and speculation.)
Have you seen the finale? Be thankful you’re going as Blanche!
“Honey” is what I have called all of our dogs as a nickname, like, “Come here honey, let’s cross the street…” so everyone thinks that’s what all our dogs have ever been named. I should just give in and name all the next ones “Honey.”
Is that a true quote?
This would make another excellent Pissing Contest!
There’s something a little lascivious about the way the descender on the cap is tickling the underside of the m.
And if anyone needs help with the Carlos Pena Vega one I’ll contribute. It won’t be G-rated, though.
I would love to see the Queen on an episode of “Hoarders.”
The Queen sent her first tweet last fall from the Science Museum in London. Sadly, it wasn’t about Downton Abbey. I don’t know if she ever sent a second one.
And who’s to say she hasn’t? Her sister, Princess Margaret, apparently liked to have a good time and may have enetertained a Turkish diplomat or two.
And if Sam brings Woody with him it will give Thomas someone new to ogle. Maybe Thomas can teach Woody how to rewind the clocks.
You are quite right about Fellowes. I read that he’s working on a new series called “The Gilded Age,” which is set in New York in the 1880s, and must be about the ruthless industrialists who became incredibly wealthy during the period.
Have you ever seen “Another Period” on Comedy Central? You can stream it from their website. You can root for Hortense, like I do.
I posted this comment before I read yours. Doesn’t the guy on horseback behind Lady Mary and Lord Grantham in the screencap bear an uncanny resemblance to Cliff Clavin from “Cheers”? You may get your wish!
In the screen cap it looks like Cliff Clavin from “Cheers’ has dropped by.
Slightly off topic, but didn’t the doctors and their families actually live in the camps, in officers’ quarters or whatever they were called? I don’t think the doctors commuted in. Maybe at Dachau, the town of which is a pleasant enough upscale Munich suburb, but at Auschwitz?
Sangria is actually Spanish (and I think maybe also Portuguese?) so you could try it with Spanish or Portuguese foods, like tapas or paella or chorizo. If memory serves Sangria was created to use up wine that wasn’t really good enough to drink on its own, so fruit was added. And I think there’s something about the…
They’re related to THE Michael’s in Midtown? I didn’t realize that. Michael’s is a big media meeting spot. I don’t think the clientele will be happy to hear about the Santa Monica stunt, and they’ve all heard about it by now.
What the hell was that reply that you replied to yourself? Have you been hacked?
