Kornheiser stopped taking calls because they would just derail his show. While I love the hot-take calls, they often are terrible. Sports talk radio with no calls is a little more listenable, as long as the hosts know how to have a conversation or conduct an interview.

After my 4 years of managing a college team I had the same thought. That approach would still be the best way to go.
