Yeah. Unfortunately, its still a very much underutilized cut of meat in like 99% of restaurants where I live. I can think of like maybe 2 Latino restaurants in the broader area where I live that have it as an offering on their menus as a filling for tacos and other dishes. Which doesn’t give me a lot of options to try…

It’s also worth noting that the reason the acceptable amount to tip went up from 15% to 20% is that everything got more expensive. Think of it this way: if tips are supposed to considered part of wages (a bullshit concept that needs to die, but that’s a rant for another time) then upping the amount to 20% basically…

Much like starting off a statement with ‘No offense’ or ‘Not to sound racist’, if you have to preface your decision by preemptively declaring that you’re not trying to be cheap... you’re definitely being cheap.
