I tried some beef tongue tacos, and I have to say, I was disappointed. I got them at this little El Salvadoran joint, and maybe I went in with too high expectations, or maybe I just got some just so-so tacos, but I was expecting beef tongue to have some sort of discernible quality that set it apart from other cuts of

Also, some I think its the thymus and another internal gland are called ‘sweet breads’ which sounds pleasant but I could see people being confused by the term: “This is neither sweet nor a type of bread!”

I respect other people like them, but after having to sling them as a short order cook every Wednesday for ‘Liver and onion’ night at a Shoneys back in my youth, I’m thoroughly put off by them.

Yeah. That’s why there needs to be a broader view in discussions like this other than what is good vs. bad. Because for a lot of poorer and working class people food is fuel, no more no less. I mean, yes, they like food and everything but because they’re economically restrained, they can’t take the long view of

“Oh, yeah, that steaks going to be soooo tough, its sooo overdone. You like turning a piece of USDA prime beef into shoe leather and then gnawing on it. You naughty bitch!”

Or, put in more pedestrian language, telling people not to eat salty foods and to include more whole grains on their plates isn’t sufficient. Systemic changes in global agriculture and food production will be required to have any sizable effect on these 11 million annual deaths. Researchers hope the wide scope of the

I feel like if the employer upped the price of everything by 3% rather than tacking it on as an opt-out surcharge, then you’d still be a little bitch about it.

Very nice. Good to see them doing that. I still think that restaurants should have to donate leftovers to food banks and stuff, particularly things like buffet restaurants.

Lousy recipe, hot video.

It’s admirable almost: They definitely saw this and went “Fuck that noise. I’m going to play this completely straight.”

If this was deliberate, i really don’t need to know what the ‘cream sauce’ is supposed to represent...

Maple as a flavor is fucking overrated. Its fine, but thats it. Just fine.

That’s one idea. But I also like the idea in the article. I think more people than not are going to leave the surcharge on there, because do you really want to be the asshole that has to openly declare to your server and the people you’re dining with that you don’t want them to have healthcare? Shame is an imperfect

Is it exclusively bilking rich assholes with the promise of top shelf liquor and then pulling a bait and switch and giving them a flat, room temp bud light that’s been left out all day?

Already made this in replay to another person’s post but thought I’d put this out there in my own post:

Hear me out on this: a KFC ‘eggroll’ made out of Orig. Recipe skin for the wrapper and coleslaw for the filling? I mean, they put out the fucking famous bowl and the Double Down, so its not like they have any shame left to lose.

I mean, I prefer homemade, but I’m with you 100% on this. KFC’s coleslaw is the best of any restaurant, and I’m even including that of many very good BBQ places I’ve gone to. I don’t know what it is, but for traditional slaw, they have the right amount of tang vs creaminess you want in a good slaw.

In the near future:

I thought the whole point of a subpoena was that you’d pretty much given up on a person turning something over by choice?

Is that a Ron Swanson MRE?
