I expect that people of any gender that employ PA’s to accept that when you delegate a task to another person that there is always a non-zero chance that said tasks could possible be done wrong and to respond to situations where mistakes are made in a mature and level-headed manner and not throw a conniption fit over

I think you misunderstood me. I am saying that Cora had a right to feel mildly annoyed at the mix-up. But that’s it. Once it was clear that this whole snafu was the result of either an error on the part of the assistant or a misunderstanding between Cora and her assistant, she should have been able to keep it together

Ok, I’ve read a lot of pieces that promote the larger BSD movement and overall criticism of Israel and I have yet to come across anything where anyone is even implying that Israel as a country shouldn’t exist. If there is any bad faith going on here, its Israel and its most staunch defenders doing mental gymnastics to

Yeah, at best, Cora had the right to feel mildly put out at the restaurant by otherwise should have kept her cool and then reserved her ire (within reason of course) for the assistant. And maybe learn a valuable lesson about outsourcing menial tasks to an assistant in the first place. Like, it could have taken up

I know that, objectively, there are far worse things in the world than a food-thief, but something about someone helping themselves to food that isn’t theirs makes my blood boil. I remember in college we had a communal floor kitchen. I went down there one night and fixed myself a couple of steaks for supper. New York

It is bullshit. And to be more to the point, I think that Israel is very much pushing the ‘criticism of Israel = anti-Semitism’ angle in order to silence critics. Unfortunately there are enough idiots that buy that argument uncritically to make it successful.

She is very progressive on economic issues and her flub was all centrist Democrats needed to pounce on her.

It’s entirely possible the assistant flubbed this and tried to play dumb in order to get the restaurant to cover her ass. That being said, actual booking info trumps subject line every time. And I also agree that even if the bulk of the initial mistake fell on the assistant, it in no way gives Cora a pass for acting

I’ve always enjoyed her but damn if this doesn’t change my perception of her. So friggin’ entitled. I’m glad the restaurant brought literal receipts to prove their side of things.

I hate mayo because while at school my peers ate ungodly amounts of the stuff. Seriously, we’d go through the cafeteria line and then at the end of it, they’re be a little area with pans of condiments: mayo, mustard, ketchup. And they’d plop insane dollops on their tray like it was a fucking side dish. I’m not as far

I’ll at least say this, typically its is easier to get people to lay off the onions than to lay off the mayo.

Mustard-based, mayo-less, German style potato salad is superior to any mayo-based potato salad. Yes even your grandma’s.

“As the two parties cannot seem to come to an agreement over custody, I have no choice but to decree that Mr. Sugglebottoms be cut in half!”

Tickle Me Elmo PTSD flashbacks.

In fairness, Jong Un probably didn’t know specifically about Warmbier being tortured. That being said, its only because he was likely one of tens of thousands of people that were being tortured at that time. Once you start climbing into triple digits it can be hard to keep track of each individual torture victim.

Maybe go for the leg of Wompa.

Well there goes the all important ‘early 40's divorcee’ vote. Not to mention he just made a powerful enemy of Jimmy Buffet and his legions of Parrotheads.

Lets be honest. This is probably the last Fox X-Man film before Disney decides to reboot the whole thing in order to bring the X-Men into the MCU. If we don’t see a new Mystique sometime within the next 5-10 years I’ll be very surprised.

For some people a bedroom before a little fuckaroo and a family reunion are not mutually exclusive...
