There’s just no reason for the show/Talking Dead/Gimple’s letter/etc to be so cagey about it if he’s really dead. They’ve never been so unclear about a major character’s death previously, especially someone as central as Glenn. Any ambiguity takes away the real impact of the death, and it seems unlikely the

I agree with this and would like to add: maybe this episode is the foreshadowing of Glenn being beaten to death by Negan with Lucille.

Great job as always, besides the many ways which we’re hoping Glenn survived whether it be by dumpster diving, innards camouflage or the theory that they were out of bullets so Nick couldn’t possibly have offed himself and it was a hallucination, the thing that really drove me nuts was, why the heck did they not mercy

Really, it’s a testament to John William’s incredible score.

i clicked thinking the artwork would show him hanging upside like a bat and then, you know... his frown would be a smile... a bat always smiling. nope.

I swear, if Lex Luthor doesn’t steal 40 cakes in BvS, I’m gonna be pissed

Good call on that one. Once you've watched this (or watched it 3-19 times), definitely check out the book.

It’s been recommended to me a thousand times over. It’s on my list but only until after the series airs. I’d like to finally enjoy a Marvel offering without the benefit of having read the source material.

If you haven't read Alias, I HIGHLY recommend it. Quite possibly Bendis' best Marvel work & very in-the-spirit of his pre-Marvel indie work like Goldfish, Torso, Sam & Twitch, etc. Dark, disturbing, with art that perfectly matches the story tone & all of that.

I’m smiling so hard after that one, you can see the pride in his work. I can’t imagine his performance is going to be anything less than stellar.

Boyega’s reaction is great!

There are more ways than one for a character (Jedi or otherwise) to appear beyond their death.

There are some extraordinarily fascinating thoughts about this. If you notice the Star Wars universe has no news media. In fact no one seems to read or write anything. Many have speculated that the inhabitants are mostly functionally illiterate. Clearly some form of writing exists and they do record things with

It’s very Attack The Block. Having finally seen that movie last month, I totally see why they hired him. Among other things, he’s got perfect ‘I’m out of my depth but I’m still going to try’ face.

I’ll bet anyone a can of coke that this is after an Imperial/First Order transport lands, they think they’re screwed and then a bunch of Resistance Soldiers pour out followed by Leia with a “Why am I the one who always has to save your ass?” kinda attitude.

Yep. Grew up with first trilogy. Had my childhood destroyed by second trilogy. Definitely reserving judgement, but the trailers have me genuinely hopeful.

“She may not look like much, but she’s got it where it counts, kid.”

We won’t have to wait that much longer to see more, of course—Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens December 18th. Can those two months just disappear right now please?
