Nooooooo.... really? I had no idea that my country has far fewer hate crimes than the US. With our population being a bit over 1/9th that of our neighbours to the south, and with our stronger hate speech laws, you were just so right to assume that I’d be ignorant of this fact until you came along to enlighten me!

I think it should be on posters (...in the toilets at gay bars especially).

I would like to state I feel like Sisyphus every damn day. I don’t care if anyone understands me or not.

I admire and appreciate your honesty. If you know a cool and interesting word with amazing connotations and which comes with an historical event behind it- use the damn word as much as you can. However, be wary or you might come to be viewed as the “ascertain” guy from Kids in the Hall.

I participated in a discussion between several trans folks who brought up how when people leave out direct pronoun reference it can come across as rejecting their gender. It IS super complicated and there are lots of feelings involved surrounding it, depending on so many factors. One dude was really hurt by people who

We make a great punnet!

Your comment is not sexy at all.

You really devoted 600 words to humblebrag huh?

But see, it’s not magic when it’s Christianity. It’s a miracle. It’s magic (evil magic) when it’s from another belief system, and magic is wrong.

Only on a poster or two — I was Baba-soothed.

Oh sure, Christianity makes so much sense while other, older religions don’t. *eyeroll*

Is it bad that I always feel just a modicum of relief that this sort of Christian love and tolerance isn’t confined to this side of the pond?

“But instead of educating themselves, they hate and they bully.”

IIRC, she used that same phrase in her 90's videotaped “Conversations with Tommy Lee” during a rhetorical analysis of Atlas Shrugged as a lens to understand the role of the ubermensch in the digital evolution of the entertainment industry. Enlightening stuff. I think the same video included Tommy Lee’s recitation of
