SW:TOR for me. I got early access and am going to leveling my Bounty Hunter, BobbaFat. :P

No, I'm saying enjoy the privilege while it lasts. Louis CK makes the point much better than I ever could:
Not anymore... I've been married for just shy of 10 years. Guess I'm doing it wrong. ;)
I've heard/read the points in this article many times before, so I skimmed over it. Then, something jumped out at me... your girlfriend mentioned in the article is now an ex-girlfriend. But, how could that be? Especially considering how considerate you are to women, and how you take them into consideration every time…
In some cases you may be right, but this is Totillo. He writes far more than he reposts. You're thinking of Jesus or Luke. :)
Where did yo get the idea that SWTOR is a "raiding style MMO"? The flashpoints are mostly 4 people, the PVP is mostly 5v5 until you get to Illum much later. The biggest "raid"-style flashpoints are for 8 people. This is a different MMO from WoW. Guilds will have different needs. Waiting for all of the player requests…
You're being simplistic, It's Simple (see what I did there? :P). Every MMO creates a slightly different Guild / Clan / Corporation system. Not every guild within every MMO has the same needs. For instance, Eve Online has corporations which have quite a bit more freedom in how they handle banking. WoW's guild banking…
Neither did UO, Guild Wars, Lineage, Lineage 2, Tabula Rasa, Lord of the Rings Online, DDO, etc, etc.
Stephen, If you wanted to game, then you shouldn't have bought a Mac. Or, you should also buy a PC (Or Bootcamp, either or).
And you're reinforcing my opinion. She's got it handled, she doesn't need my help. And, here's the kicker, if I do jump up in her defense, then I'm reinforcing a stereotype about men. I say that a man's best move in this particular instance is to back away from it. Don't belittle her independence by helping her out.
Once it gets to the level of government sponsored genocide, I will definitely change my tune. But, until this issue crosses that unimaginably wide gap to reach that point, I'll stand firmly out of the fray. I do appreciate you showing how small of an issue this is in comparison, though. :)
I'm a bit of both. I put in two years as a Guardian Angel, I put in my time, I'm done helping. Your turn.
Beautiful job, Chinbeard. :)
I got their points, but backed away from the subject. It's not my fight. I don't commit the acts that homeboy was talking about in the first article, and I'm not responsible for the hangups that homegirl has in this article. It's called "self"-esteem for a reason. You're responsible for it... no one else.
True. But, that's not what happened with the PC movement. Respect had nothing to do with it. People began constantly censoring people and impeding free speech with one simple little phrase, "I'm offended". It all starts with that. And, it all ends up with this:
I read though both articles and came to the firm conclusion that it's not my issue. If you feel attacked, learn how to turn it around on your attackers (since all of it is talk / text and you're in no physical danger). If you want a job in the game industry. Learn the skillsets that you need to learn and apply for the…
Considering how much being PC has cost us over the last 20 years or so, I think that there's something to be said about not speaking out as well.
The only way in which the PS Vita will change the way that I play games is by putting another display obstacle in my way that I'll have to either shimmy left or right to avoid when I walk into a game store.
Lot of Blizzard love on this thread. Personally, I liked the Blur trailers more, especially "Deceived". Very well done.
It's a numbers game. So yes, kill the one. But, when I saw this story yesterday, I realized that it didn't have emotional impact... so I wrote a more impactful test:
