i agree with you on the slashing montage! everyone i was watching with was all excited about it and took it as the message it was intended - Rick’s group and the Alexandrians all working together and intense AF - but the filming style was so unusual for the series that it took me right out of it.

meh, i’m with you, i don’t really wrap up work until 6/7pm on a good day; don’t worry about it... get your sleep! and exercise, ideally. your health and mindset are more important. some people just watch on the weekends, or work more manageable hours, or watch on the train or something.
