i do love the glasses on him. i read the whole look - the hat style, the nehru collar, the jaw beard, as a very modern-muslim look, based on the circles i know.

re: “they’re showing people who swapped “ideal” for a baby” - you don’t know that these women’s “before” bodies were the “ideal.” even in the two links in the article, i see a variety of shapes and sizes, and (not enough but a few) women of color too. Women used to be told to hide their bodies, post-partum or…
I just don’t see what you see in these post partum photos. They DO normalize that pregnancy and childbirth can have lasting effects on women’s bodies and it’s ok with experience that. It’s better than pretending a woman is supposed to bounce back within X weeks or she’s a failure/whale, which has been the prevailing…
Oh poor Mama :( that sucks!
1) when i commented there WERE no comments explaining his 2018 work, nor did the article explain. so asking why seemed like a legit question.
agreed but also, *admirable
i love each and every one of the poc on this cover!
I think it’s just that Meghan is more of an active person in terms of number of things she’s trying to get done in the day.. one article complained that she got up to work out early in the morning. Meanwhile Kate is upper class English and has been living the Royal life for several years, she’s probably going to have…
oh! lol. totally missed that.
Andy has done a lot more than that one SNL short. and that short was a character, btw.
i love both of them! and their banter in the vid is so cute - great audition. i love that andy played straight to her funny.
in addition jezebel / the commentariat is very anti-bigwedding - like women who might want a big fancy wedding are somehow selfish or overly dramatic or not having their priorities right — and that resulted in a lot of snark about this particular wedding.
omg that was the best thing i ever saw
Oh my God I love this so much. I too am a Muslim woman who doesn’t go to mosque except at Eid, and not even then, because I just hate the spaces (not)shared with us.
Think Baby is a great, easy to spread mineral sunscreen. i also like Sun Bum’s baby line (Baby Bum) - smells good, feels good, not greasy. i haven’t tried the adult Sun Bum line.
it’s never gonna come out fully. Chalk these up as the “Vicks Pajamas” forevermore and only use these when Vicks is in play.
I’m with you on this. we had a sofa set that has the big ottoman but we just pushed it alongside another piece to make a long chaise. now the space is open and wonderful! filled with toys on the weekend but that’s ok. My baby is just starting to walk and needs the space to push stuff around as she learns. we have 2…
damn, good point. third option: piss poor storytelling by the showrunners.
starred for “boring a Walker to death with South colloquialisms”
